My video needs are pretty simple and this fills them nicely. Way smoother footage and it allows me a greater degree of freedom and more interesting angles.

A word of warning, using a lenses with a variable focal distance will mean you have to re balance when you change. Write down the settings and that can be done in under a minute. Great product.

CHEAP QUALITY - KEEPS BREAKING

After setting up the stabilizer, two hours after I opened the package one of the hex jet screws stripped and was broken, the following day after taping it up, the stabilizer height screw also stripped.
I'm a kid with barely any money and I wasted all my money on this crap.

This really cant be beaten for the price.
I had my doubts getting a steadicam rather than a Gimbal but I'm more than happy with it.
The build quality is insane! This is everything you need for stable footage. I watched some in depth tutorials on how to use it and had no problems at all within a day of practice apart from my DLSR being a bit on the light side for this setup.

There is no need for a gimbal after this as it is actually more convenient and cheaper!

1 Star UPDATE:

Well, I spoke too soon. Great build quality apart from the tightening screw that secures the shaft in place at the bottom. Low quality material which stripped the thread after only a month of use. Worst part is that this happened on a shoot.
Had to tape it to temporarily secure it in place. Since they don't issue replacements until one is sent back and don't pay for the shipping either, 1 star. I'm meant to pay return shipping fees for an item that only lasts a month. No thanks.

Spend your money elsewhere with a more reputable brand.

4 Star Update: 22/05/2019

After contacting Neewer they were kind enough to issue a free replacement without me having to send the broken unit back. The replacement arrived in a timely fashion and is holding up well so far. I hope that the same issue does not occur again even though from my limited knowledge of materials engineering I believe it will due to the low quality materials used in the shaft and tightening bolt. Ill update my review again in a few months. For now it is carrying my BMPCC4K nicely.

Good accessory but issues with light cameras

Just got it and trying to get set up and balanced... It's pretty difficult with a light camera like an RX100, thinking I may need to move some of the weights to the top of the rig to achieve any balance. Nice bit of kit but a headache for anything lighter than a dslr.

A bit tedious to get setup but once you watch the video on how to set it up you'll be flying. Fun piece of equipment to massively improve your moving shots. You'll noticed the massive gains in your arm too after using it! Looking forward to using it more and mastering it.
Good build quality and will definitely last, the levels on it is pretty pointless though.

You definitely need patience to set it up cause its a very intimidating process but once you do it properly you'll really like outcome.

The instruction video isn't English but has subtitles to follow a long to.

It got dispatched quickly but delivery was slow but can't complain as its Christmas.

I used it with a Canon 700D with 50mm and 18-50mm lens. Can go much heavier I reckon but check the max weight limit if you're unsure.

The item is a solidly constructed, no cheap plastic parts.

Bit fiddly at first to get the balance but once it twigs it literally takes minutes.

Not been out and recorded any footage as it is a bit fiddly to get the knack of using it (operator error).

Even just plodding about my flat I can see the difference with this item and by just hand holding.

If you're on a budget and need or just want a stabiliser then yes I'd recommend buying this.

It's a Neewer product of which I've bought a few, and although they are in the budget end they do seem to be building a reputation for good quality.
