The issue isn't build quality or anything. It's purely design. The screw that adjusts vertical movement sticks out as far as or further than the gears which go on the lens. This pretty much stops you from getting a snug fit on cinema lenses. It May work ok with a rubber gear ring but the one it comes with was quite deformed and unreliable.
Neewer make great products and if you must get a follow focus from them, The single-sided model of this or the A-B stop version doesn't seem to have the same clearance issue

Neewer forward focus with gear belt does exactly what it says on the tin and with great ease for getting the right level of focus but it wouldn't be entirely fair to compare them with larger brands such as Tilta, Alexa from Arri etc who are more widely established respectfully aimed for the needs of the more demanding of experienced industry professionals within the field of cinematography catering for the commercial cinema industry!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 August 2020
However as an amateur cinematographer such as myself there's nothing worse than risking making a mess whilst zooming out of a fixed focal point but with the Neewer focus gear belt it's a must as it make things alot more easier in the field of amateur cinematography but at a reasonably low price! It certainly fits virtually all camera rig configurations just by making a few minor key adjustments here and there and then your good to go! If space allows infront of the camera rods I may call again in the near future for a second focus wheel to adjust the f:stops in the inner part of the lens!
Overall conclusions, great little piece of kit for your camera rig at a very low price that does the job and from a top seller I may add, kind regards!
