This product is fine but don't expect it to turn up looking as nice as the stylised images. It is very wrinkled from being packed flat and despite even careful ironing, they are very hard to remove. The inserts are also super creased and oddly aren't quite big enough for the internal measurements of the box. You will also need 4 additional lights to ensure even light spread but it also works quite well out in the bright sunshine if are careful of shadows when taking pics. Very portable and pretty easy to pack up

This is my first light box and I have been very happy with the photos I've been able to take while using it. I have a light positioned on each side and it works perfectly. The inserts included are near useless, I use an A2 sheet of black card from Officeworks instead, which I would have done anyway to have a perfectly smooth surface. I see this getting many years of use as I can't imagine needing anything fancier for quite a while so the price is well worth it.

The fabric backdrops are folded into squares and you cannot iron out the creases in the backdrops. The backdrop creases are visible when you take photos and no one wants to waste their time on photoshop

This exactly as described. I took care to see how it unfolded and will seek out the youtube vid if I can't remember. It's simple to get the creases out, just use an iron. I ironed the back pieces first then the whole cube. Worked out fine. I tried on a very low iron temp first using the red backing as a test it was the least likely colour I'd use, then gradually increased until it was hot enough. Simple. All creases came out. Move swiftly and you don't risk burning it. I don't know what all the fuss is about.

Really good for the price. Quite a big size tent 24x24. Backdrops were wrinkled but soaked them in fabric conditioner in water and used a clothes steamer on them and now wrinkle free and smooth! The material is like a shower curtain.

However, once I'd removed the item from the bag in which it was supplied, it sprung into shape and I can't see how to put it away again!

This thing is really good, and for the price it can't be beaten.

Firstly, ignore the idiots who can't put it back in the bag. Seriously, if you can't fold it back up, you are too stupid to be able to use it properly anyway. It folds flat into a big circle, then you just twist it into a figure-8 and it goes back in the bag. I took note of how it came out, but there are demos on YouTube. Bizarrely, this 24" one folds into a smaller bag then the 12" one.

I though this 24" one might be too big. It's not - the 12" one is too small. 24" is perfect for eBay items. It fits on my desk and I can illuminate it with a daylight LED bulb in a desk lamp.

The quality is fine - not studio quality but it cost £13. It's perfectly adequate for taking pictures for eBay and for photographing model kits. The backgrounds are slightly fiddly and the creases show if you don't iron them. The white one is most useful. You do need to use the background as you can see the internal corners of the cube if you don't.

I needed something cheap to start up an etsy shop and had nothing to soften light. This was a last minute purchase and I have no idea how I would have taken good shots if I didnt have this. The area I have to work with inside the box is quite good and I can use large enough itens. I am no pro at taking shots but this box makes my shots look so much better. You still have to edit some shadows etc but wow the difference when using this is so big. I will be upgrading at some stage but this is a real eye opener to a beginner and I can see the potential.
I am so happy about this box but have no idea how to close it up lol.
