I am an amateur. I use my DSLR for wildlife and landscape photography, finding it quicker and easier to focus and frame than my smaller point and shoot cameras. This is an update for me and fits into my modus operandi really well.
Great semi pro camera with all the features of a camera twice the price. I use it with a Tamron 100-400mm lens for bird photography. I love the menu system for its ease of use.

Fantastic product, great price and only arrived one day late, even though it was over the Xmas period, but I was offered a refund it the delay had caused a problem.

I am a photography enthusiast at best, I mainly shoot portraits of my kids and dog! I bought this camera after a long deliberation about upgrading from a D90. This camera is great, I saved and waited for a good deal from Nikon. When I finally ordered, it arrived quickly and packaged extremely well for protection against the ravages of postal deliveries. Now I am enjoying relearning all of the basics of shooting, the 80-140mm lens kit is a tad heavier, but not so much as to be hugely noticeable from my previous camera. There are a multitude of in depth D7500 reviews online, it is out of the scope of my knowledge to comment on the camera itself, only that I love it, and find it super easy to use, and as I rediscover the meaning of all the settings, even more fun to play with how I want my pictures to turn out. My experience of purchasing this camera through Amazon, I can highly recommend.
