- Medium voltage: 48-90V, 2 Green & 3 Yellow LED indicators light up, fast alarm sounds
- High voltage: 90-1000V, 8 LED indicators light up, much faster alarm sounds

In Auto mode:
- Low voltage: 48-90V, 2 Green LED indicators light up, slow alarm sounds
- Medium voltage: 90-130V, 2 Green & 3 Yellow LED indicators light up, fast alarm sounds

I had some electrical problem solving to do. Some lights were not working and it was not clear where the actual problem was. This tool did the job. Only trick was to make sure the battery you put in is a good one. Initially I used one that had been sitting around for a few years. It clearly had enough charge to make the device do something, but not work correctly. I then put a new battery in - then all perfect. Recommended.
