I bought 2 of these projectors to project AtmosFX displays onto our windows for the Holidays and they are PERFECT for that. The resolution is very good for this price range. It does project 1080p resolution (another reviewer says it is only 800p but that is NOT correct). I love that I can insert a USB thumb drive into the projector and play our displays without any additional hardware. The projector is also very bright for this price range.

There are a few issues: The keystone correction is worthless. It only works on the vertical axis and if you adjust it, the image goes out of focus at the top/bottom of the frame with no way to fix it. Also, there is some ghosting of the image (you can see halos and artifacts around bright parts of the image), making the picture a bit muddy at times.

Overall this is a really good projector for this price and if you are looking to project holiday displays it is the perfect choice as it is nice and bright. If you're looking for a high quality projector for movie night I recommend biting the bullet and spending a bit more if you can.

We’re all stuck at home, no Theaters to go to. Why not buy a projector and throw out that garbage, unsightly 65” piece of crap Samsung you have on the wall that you bought on Black Friday at Costco? Huh?
This projector won’t suit you?? You wonder... worried about not being able to watch it during the day or have the resolution and blazing brightness of a retina scanner?? Well not to worry. This projector is better than you want to admit. It’s waay more fun too and you probably already have a spot in mind for it. But now if you’re wondering how it will mount or if it will work in your space: don’t be concerned—that’s what the screw holes are for at the bottom, the simple buttons are for on the top, and the spinning nob is for by the lense. Now that you’re no longer discouraged: Go get yourself this perfect home theater machine for cheap!!

I’m pleased and quite surprised at the quality of this unit. I have mine set to ‘Big Screen’ mode: Approximately 120” diagonal image at 13ft throw, with good brightness at daytime viewing (blinds closed) and great vivid detail at night (or with black out curtains) for those needing perfect black levels 100% of the time.
Pros:
-Number one point to go “projector” is accurate motion—don’t hurt your head with refresh rate specs, it’s flawless here! Best most realistic motion you can get is with a projector and here is no exception. Perfect for Gaming, Streaming, or whatever, it keeps it up. That there’s reason enough! But if ya need more...
-Extremely silent fan! I mean it. Much much better than other projectors I’ve used. Like 100% better: I have it right behind my head and don’t notice any sound. Also heat is quite low.
-white and black levels are true and depth of color is spot on.
-Compact unit and great form factor/design; looks more expensive than it is!
(To note: lense cap is completely removable here and doesn’t fit when focused to a long throw, as the lense goes too far back into the chamber... kinda odd... so remember dust can be a problem over time)
-Final selling point: PRICE. Best bang for the buck bar None! I’ve looked.

Cons:
You need a projector screen or a decent wall.

In conclusion, buy it.

Good Basic Projector

If you need a good Basic projector then this is a great choice. Manual Focus, which I prefer. Sound is good if not a little low. Very Bright. Since I will be using it outside, I will b hooking it up to a louder speaker. The only issue i have with it is the mounting screw. It has one on the bottom and towards the front of the projector. I would have wanted to use it with my Tabletop tripod but since the hole is so far forward the tripod becomes unstable. A better mounting system would make this great!

we searched through alot of projectors, our requirement being that we have the ability to block out all light in the room but dont want to, so brightness was essential. this is bright and then some. when watching netflix the quality is excellent. we are projecting on a screen so that probably helps. in terms of set up there really is none, just plug and play. it doesnt have all the in built smart features to watch amazon et al directly but we dont need that as we prefer hdmi cable set up anyway. some reviews here say the fan isnt the quietest, however when the movie is playing we dont hear it even though its right by our heads. really happy with this , for our simple needs its perfect.

It was easy to hook up to my phone using an adapter and easy hooking up to external speaker system. Onboard speakers were fine but like using added speakers. Plus this is a projector.
