The case is perfect - you couldn't design one better really, the headset fits snugly with the controllers inside and the in built pouch is perfect for the charger, spare batteries for controllers, ear phones and a lens cloth.
I've travelled with this base in my bag and felt happy knowing the Quest was safe. I always pack my Quest away in the case now just so I know its safe and the lenses aren't getting dusty. From that respect a method of charging while in the case would be good... if you leave the cable plugged in its a squeeze and clearly not meant to be done.
Pros - Good price, robust great quality, fantastic minimal design, looks great
Cons - internal pouch only just big enough when charger, cable, batteries and lens cloth are in it. Could do with a port for charging the Quest while housed in the case.
The AMVR grips I bought do fit into this case, but you have to slide one of the grips down the handle of the controller in order for the controllers to become interlocked in the right way to fit the case properly. A much better, albeit bulkier, option for this and lots of other third-party accessories is the Amazon basics PSVR carry case; it requires a small cut in the padding to fit the quest properly, and is more cumbersome, but there is much more room for extras and it fits the headset very well.
All in all a good case with a premium quality feel (and price tag) if you want to transport the headset and controllers but not much else.
In my opinion Oculus should provide a case of some sort to such fragile expensive equipment, these cases probably cost a few pounds to manufacture and would be a great asset to the purchase.
