I unfortunately have to agree with a few other reviews. I was highly anticipating this book to be as good as the first and am disappointed. If you follow her blog, you don't need the book. Yes there are a few recipes in the book that are not on the blog but far too many are. Also, a lot of easy recipes (making nut flours, etc. - grind a nut..not difficult). But I love her and her recipes. Beautiful book. If you do not follow her blog and do not have her first book, then you would likely rate it a 5.
I consider myself a fairly average omnivore. I don’t eat meat all the time but regularly enough and I cannot ever picture myself giving it up. After eating through large parts of this book I can safely say that if the need ever arose I could give up meat. We have definitely Eaten a lot more vegetables in our house. I grew up in a house that ate a lot of vegetarian food but it was often quite bland so I avoided vegetarian food as I got older. This is change my thinking and I believe it would change most people’s. Worth a buy
I have purchased Angela's first book too. While some of the recipes call for special ingredients that aren't easily available (or at all) in India, none of the recipes I have tried have disappointed. This is true for her blog as well. The only failure I've had with her recipes in all 6 years that I've been following her work was the zucchini bread. Everything else has been top-notch!
Loved the first book so I excitedly purchased the second hoping for more of Angela’s recipes. Honestly the majority of recipes in this book are just slightly modified recipes from the original book. A huge disappointment and not worth buying in my opinion.
Klare Kaufempfehlung!
