This book comes with my highest recommendation...excellent recipes, many of which are really very simple. A small yet perfect antidote to the year of COVID and home isolation. I've had the book three days and already I've cooked two recipes. The simple lemon and olive oil cake is truly delicious. It's my new favourite cookbook!

My type of food, my type of cookbookReviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 February 2019
Love this cookbook. The recipes are wholesome and hearty. Sometimes you buy a cookbook maybe because of the hype maybe because you like the chef but the recipes are either too complicated and the ingredients mean going to a special shop. This book is gorgeous in all respects. The recipes are simple and look luscious from pies to pasta and pizza. I will be making most of the cakes as well.
