Velcro doesn’t hold

I am pretty disappointed that the straps didn’t hold onto the bar. The bar itself is great. No complaints there. The straps if used by themselves are nice as well but I have straps I love. But the straps don’t secure to the bar. They just don’t. They are held by a very thin piece of sewn in Velcro (not adjustable). I managed to chunk a hole out of my front door (using a high anchor) when the strap slid off and the bar went flying. Thinking I had possibly looped the straps onto the bar incorrectly I tried again with a low anchor. Same thing happened and I have a huge chunk of the foot of my very heavy expensive wooden bed missing now. If the Velcro slips even a little the bar is off balance and the strap flies out of the bar. Alone these pieces are really nice. Be careful using them together

High quality, lots of exercise variations possibile even with home workouts

First, I used to go to a club to workout, converted to working out in house. I bought bands and other devices, added this for variation. The handles are very high quality, it makes a difference in a smooth movement during exercise. The bar is outstanding, more for at a club, but I connect to bands and it too is smooth, well built. I do not use the two as suggested, would if at club, but have improvised and found everything very useful. I recommend it if you work out hard and high quality is important. For someone who just wants to get the blood flowing and quality not important, can find cheaper, but for me, the cost was well worth it. If you experiment with bands hanging from a door, you will find many variations that are outstanding.

The product is unable to be used safely as advertised. The loops that go around the bar do not secure tightly and will fall off and may cause injury to the user or damage to your pulley system. However, as stand-alone items the straight bar and yellow handles work great as separate products. But I do not recommend utilizing them together. I feel 3 stars is fair.

Overall I like this product for the straight bar which I use often. The fact that the straps easily slip off makes it a little sketch to do heavy weight for any parallel grip movement. I still use it but I’m worried the straps will slip to one side and cause injury.

This rope attachment/ handle has worked out perfectly for our home gym. We are using it with resistance bands attached to our pull up bar for now, but it really is so sturdy and well made, it will be used with our full set up once we get to that point. Seriously, this thing is super heavy duty and will last forever. Very well made. The handle grips are not the kind that can disintegrate or come off at all. Glad we bought it.
