Nichole Robertson is the author of Paris in Color and Paris in Love, and the cofounder of the website Obvious State (formerly Little Brown Pen). Her photography has been featured in Real Simple, Design*Sponge, Apartment Therapy, DEcor8, and the LA Times, among other publications. She sells prints of her photos and calendars through the Obvious State website and Etsy, and has a dedicated blog following. She lives in New York and travels to Paris often.

Pages of lovely Paris photos, grouped by color and subtle in tone, are placed opposite the pages for entering one's daily activities. I especially appreciate the simplicity of the calendar pages, which display one week at a time. Each day is allocated a plain white entry space, 1 inch high by 6 inches across. except for Saturday and Sunday, which are 3 inches across. There are no distracting and dizzy-making lines marked with the times of day, as found in so many calendars. If you have a lot of daily entries, this may not be the right calendar for you. It suits my needs perfectly, and I plan to buy it every year.

Beautiful pictures on each page. The pictures for each month have a color theme that matches the spirit of the month (red for February, white for December, green for June). Tons of room to write in appointments for each day. The pages are quite thick, too; I don't anticipate any bleed through with my pens.
