I have been using Pendaflex hanging file folders for years, and these ones are not as heavy duty as others I have used. The paper is thinner and the metal is more flexible. I actually got one caught on my file box while loading it and bent the metal piece because it was so soft and flexible. It bent right back no problem and can still be used. Despite these being designed for more lightweight use, they are strong enough and will work great in my home office. The color is beautiful. I used a flash, so they may be a little bit darker in real life, but the photo is pretty accurate. I would order these again for my home office, but I would go with the stronger Pendaflex files if ordering for my workplace.

I picked these because of the color. I didn't want the boring, primary colors or worse yet, that army green. When I found these, I clicked Buy It Now without paying much attention to the size. And if I'm being perfectly honest, I didn't know filing cabinets came in different sizes so I didn't even know I was supposed to check. When they arrived, I immediately went to put them into my new filing cabinet and realized they were a few inches too short. So, pretty colors, but not the legal size I needed. Thankfully, returns are easy enough.

These are great. The folders themselves are sturdy, a nice thickness without being too big, and the different colors helps add some flair to the task of filing, as well as giving you another step of organization should you so desire. They work great, definitely worthwhile. Just make sure you have the right height to the sides of your file drawers, or a file frame, lest you be caught like I was realizing you need one before you can actually use them! All in all though a great product, definitely worth a buy if you need some!

I am color blind; when I opened up the package I saw a little ball that I thought was a mouse turd. I was a bit put off because I did not want to deal with smelly and unsanitary products in my house. I realized later that it was a ball of paper pulp that got caught up and glued to the file before the dying process.

I gave them a 4 star rating because of the confusion, a little better quality control would have avoided the confusion all together.

Little thin and flimsy. I was actually looking for the really sturdy ones we use at my office. They are this same brand (however I don’t know how old they are lol could have been produced by this company years ago for all I know) but much much more stiff and structured in a dull green/grey shade. These are not bad overall considering they are so many per box. My only real gripe is that the color is so off! My company’s signature color is burgundy so I choose these— but the color is not really what I’d call “burgundy”. They are more like a grey/purple. They will do. But I really wanted a more red burgundy, like as advertised in picture. I though the company shipped the wrong color at first glance , but I guess this just how they do their “burgundy”.
