I had some older Pendaflex folders and the paper is considerable thicker. These recycled ones are very thin in comparison.

The metal hanger doesn't compare either. Older Pendaflex was longer and designed better to slide and stay on track.

It's ok, buts it's worth more like five bucks consider this downgrade in quality. Looks like they're making money off their wide selection of colored recycled paper. I'll be buying more, but not this brand.

The “burgundy” folders I ordered are not burgundy! They are so different from the product photo that I had to check to make sure I didn’t order the wrong color. They are more of a mulberry color, a muted purple. I will keep these since as file folders they get the job done and it’s not worth the hassle to return them...but am still going to order the red folders as well, since those are the colors I needed for my organizational system.

I ordered burgundy hanging folders and was really disappointed when I got it because it looked like dark/plum purple, not cranberry/wine/burgundy at all. See photo I included with this post. I don't plan to return it because I don't feel like dealing with the hassle of returning it but think you should know that it's not burgundy at all.

1) I ordered burgundy and the folders are more purple. The box does not match the contents!
2) These hanging folders are about 1/4" shorter then my other folders so the contents stick out too high.
3) The folders are cut crooked so they don't slide on the metal cabinet rails.

Really unhappy with these!

Little thin and flimsy. I was actually looking for the really sturdy ones we use at my office. They are this same brand (however I don’t know how old they are lol could have been produced by this company years ago for all I know) but much much more stiff and structured in a dull green/grey shade. These are not bad overall considering they are so many per box. My only real gripe is that the color is so off! My company’s signature color is burgundy so I choose these— but the color is not really what I’d call “burgundy”. They are more like a grey/purple. They will do. But I really wanted a more red burgundy, like as advertised in picture. I though the company shipped the wrong color at first glance , but I guess this just how they do their “burgundy”.

I haven't been using these folders long. I only received them 12 days ago and only used them at work so...8 actual working days. So far, 3 have split at the bottom of the folder. They aren't over filled. They aren't ill used. I don't THROW things in them. The quality just isn't there. Needless to say, I'm not happy.
