I thought I was buying an evaporative cooler but its more like a humidifier. It has a filter that you can wet and freeze but it doesn't hold the water very well. The main source of water comes from a small part inside the cooler that sprays a fine mist. The mist doesn't seem to make a difference to cooling as it only lets a small amount of water out at a time. A true evaporative cooler 2ould be much more effective. That being said it still a fan and it will do for now.
Not to happy it did not come with a wall adapter even though it states that it is included I had to buy one , now I can’t even use it because the cord keeps loosing connection so it’s pretty much usless
Look this is better then nothing in a miserable Aussie summer, if you lie completely still and don't move it does help but as soon as you think about moving it just isn't big enough to really do anything.
I had hoped to get some cooling effect in my bedroom at night. Unfortunately the effect is minimal at best and it is really only felt if you have the fan positioned around 6 inches from your face while sleeping! Bearing in mind that it costs very little to purchase I should not have been surprised. Not recommended.
this tiny thing i bought for 50 was a waste, the water doesnt even evaporate, its very noisy considering its so small and the air is barely cold. Save yourself the trouble and dont buy this item. It wont cool you at all. Just blows air around.
The item I received was not as expected. I would've been better off spending more money then getting this no name brand fan. By your self a $20 fan and cable tie a frozen 600 ml bottle of water, works way better.
