Partiamo subito dalla ragione che mi ha spinto ad assegnare 3 stelle a questo prodotto anziché quattro: il faretto può muoversi solo sull'asse verticale e non anche su quello orizzontale. Concretamente, significa che può essere orientato dal basso verso l'alto e non anche da sinistra a destra. Dal mio punto di vista, considerando la tipologia di dispositivo, si tratta di una limitazione non da poco che, tra l'altro, si aggiunge alle difficoltà di montaggio a parete a causa della presenza di una staffa posteriore associata a bordi molto piccole. Insomma, ci sarà bisogno di tanta manualità per posizionarlo a vostro piacimento.

++ILLUMINAZIONE++
Detto questo, l'illuminazione garantita è eccellente, come da tradizione per la serie Philips Hue. All'interno della confezione troverete una lampadina GU10 sempre della gamma Philips Hue, che si inserisce nel faretto in maniera estremamente semplice e consente di illuminare, con i suoi 350 Lumen, una zona specifica della casa. Personalmente l'ho piazzato proprio sul piano della cucina, che viene perfettamente illuminato in tutti i suoi 120 centrimetri di larghezza. Il faretto è in grado di riprodurre luce calda e fredda, che può comodamente essere impostata dall'applicazione.

++ PARTE SMART ++
A proposito di quest'ultima, è disponibile sia per Android che per iOS e, affinché il faretto possa essere collegato alla Wi-Fi, è necessario possedere il Bridge Philips da acquistare separatamente. In alternativa, è possibile impostare tutto tramite l'app di Alexa (rinunciando però alle funzioni avanzate di quella Philips) e, se si è in possesso dell'Echo Plus, è possibile collegare il faretto alla Wi-Fi senza il Bridge Philips sfruttando il protocollo ZigBee (molto comodo). Comandare la luce con la voce grazie ad Alexa è ormai diventato imprescindibile per il mio utilizzo. Insomma, promosso ma con riserva.
