very dull light output

They work well in the Hue environment, which is to be expected, the lights do look cheap, the plastic chrome ring looks very average in real life, the brightness is quite low for a light this size, i wasn't expecting such a dull brightness

But the benefits are that is great with a hue sensor for nightime use, it works well within the apple home kit and Suri.

When there is a better looking and brighter version, i'll be ripping these out and replacing them

This is nothing more than a posh LED ceiling light with a posh price tag. If Philips are getting away with charging this kind of money for the buzz of having a "smart" light (which incidentally you dont have straight out the box - you must buy more) then the likes of the Brinks-Mat robbers are making things too complicated. This does not provide £180 worth of performance.

Love this light. Low profile ceiling fitting.
Had a problem adding it to the system as despite being next door to a room with existing Hue bulbs it was not detected but using its serial number worked fine - make a note before you finish putting the covers on.
Good range of colours although only really use two. Plenty bright enough although not the biggest bathroom to light.
And love being able to turn off all the lights when leave the house in the morning, and have programs to auto-turn dimmed lights on - now including the bathroom, when alarms go off.

The instructions are terrible and over complicated, contrary to what was intended with the graphics. I expect better from a company like Philips.

Die Leuchte ist vorwiegend aus Kuntstoff, macht optisch aber dennoch einen halbwegs wertigen Eindruck. Die Bedienberkeit durch mitgelieferte Fernbedienug ist gut (Ein/Aus, Dimmen, Auswahl der Farbtemperatur).
Die Helligkeit ist insbesondere angesichts der angegebenen 43W / 2400 Lumen aber eine herbe Enttäuschung. Zwei alte 4W E14 LED-Lampen verleihen unserem Flur trotz ebenfalls Milchglas-Lampenschirm gefühlt mehr als die doppelte Helligkeit.

Ich vermute, dass hier nur je 10W je Farbtemperatur 3000/4000/5000/6000K zur Verfügung stehen, zu keiner Zeit aber auch nur annähernd "echte" 43W.

Fazit: für kleine Räume von 2-5qm möglicherweise okay. Philips sollte der Produktbeschreibung meiner Meinung nach sehr viel deutlicher machen, dass die Adore eher als Neben-Lichtquelle, nicht aber zur alleinigen Beleuchtung eines Raumes gedacht ist.

Lampe hat mir generell gefallen, aber das große Manko ist einfach die Helligkeit. Konnte es einfach nicht glauben das 2400 Lumen so dunkel sein können. Aber die Lampe hat gefühlt vielleicht 800 Lumen. Habe meiner Schwiegermutter vor Kurzem eine LED Lampe mit 1200 Lumen gekauft für 30€ und die hat 3x so viel Licht gemacht. Für den Preis ein absolutes NoGo. Lampe geht leider zurück
