I have a 64gb Vita memory card and you get 60gb of usable space which is plenty, I have loaded a couple of psp games from the psn store and ps1 and installed 10 vita games no issues with space at all, if you can't get a 64gb one for any reason I recommend at least 16gb, I wouldn't go any lower than that.
The silver version is very underrated in my opinion, it is by far the less loud and more classy colour giving you that metal look at feel which I love.

One thing to note if you restore from backup the language will change to Japanese for some reason so you have to remember the settings menu option icon to get back to change it.
also with power plug, you can just use a AU 2 prone cable and plug it into the power brick of the vita so you don't need to have an international plug converter or anything and it's also cheaper to do that.
If you need to read the back of the box or the manuals etc you can use google translate on your phone if has a camera feature that reads the text and does a live translation so it's easy :) You can also just download English version of everything lol.
Other than that I am loving this so far in 2019!! the vita still rocks.

I bought this system so I can start writing code and hacking it. I made modifications to the h-encore source code and put my spin on how I want to customise my system.
The device came with 3.63 OFW I was hoping it was lower but doesn't matter as the bootrom exploit still works on 3.65. The device was in the original packaging and brand new.
I haven't been playing it with native vita games as I have been busy just running mGBA on it and run other things or tools on it.
Its fun little device to practice hacking and exploitation on.
