I can honestly say that I wasn't a huge fan of the first book in the series but this book, wow, I completely forgive all the stuff I hated from the first book as this one is AMAZING!
What more could you want from a book other than a 'heroine' who can stand up for herself and fight back when needed, a number of sexy princes who are willing to bet it all knowing there is major risks involved, and the icing on the cake is a stunning best friend who is always there for her friend.
Prepare to feel all the emotions - intense pain and heartbreak, fear, despair, pain, revenge but also excitement, joy, lust, love and intrigue. I loved this rollercoaster of emotions, that initial feeling of 'oh I'm not going to like this book either' to 'holy cows did not see that coming, give me all the words I NEED them now!' I have no idea how this this series is going to end, what's going to happen or be revealed but I do know I need the next book ASAP

I wasn’t sure were the story was going to go after book one, and this didn’t disappoint. I love where this is leading.

I absolutely loved Rafe and his broody a$$hole ways. Then bam here comes Jordan and damn I didn’t see him coming but OMG is he sweet and protective. Rafe and Jordan are yin and yang, they are both J/P with Violet and still let her be bada$$ self and don’t hold her back. I love it.

I can’t decide between Rafe and Jordan, whilst I read book 1 I wanted it to be MF and not RH but damn I want it to be MFM. I love both Rafe and Jordan for different reasons and I think she needs them both.

my one issue - where the fork did Jordan come from? he was never a love interest and i don't dig it.

This book had me so excited to read it as I loved all the twists and turns and the edge of the seat tension that was felt throughout the read. I loved the character development we got with all of the guys as there was a ton more of that than in the first one.
I feel I can't say too much about what happened in the book as that will be giving too many spoilers away. But, what I will say is that I did love the new development that happened in Violet's relationship and I hope, really hope that it ends up the way it looks like it is going! Playboy Princes gets five stars from me as I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to reading the next and last book in this series, particularly after that ending.

Well my opinion of certain Male characters has certainly changed...... some for the good and some .... well shh spoilers 😉. Tate and Jaymin have said it wont be RH but if it happened to be MFM I wouldn't mind Violet being the middle of a playboy princes sandwich (I certainly wouldn't want to choice between them) and it's not the 2 you would think. I was very pleasantly surprised when reading this with how one of the princes attached himself to Vi's and my affections. And every kickass heroine needs and equally sassy best friend and Violet is lucky to have not one but two. With what was revealed and subtly suggested in this book I dread to think what twist and turns await us in book 3, I sit anxiously awaiting it which is to me a sign of an authors ability to grab and hook a readers attention for not only this but all further releases. Tate and Jaymin will now and forever be 1 click musts for me!!

I am absolutely enthralled by this futuristic world of royals and intrigue. There's so many levels to an incredible conspiracy and my mind is flooded with theories! I had to genuinely force myself to take breaks reading this so I could enjoy it longer, and still read it over one day. It's so difficult to put this book down!

I loved the new levels were got to see of our lead characters. Though Violet made, in my opinion, a few dumb choices at the beginning and towards the end, she's an amazing character to read about. I'd honestly love a prequel novel about her training because it sounds fiercely intense. I also think there's another layer to Alex that we haven't seen yet, and that intrigues me. I can't wait to see what the ending to this series will bring!

Ok so I'm hoping for a hea for Violet & Rafe I find the relationship between them has more chemistry and although Jordan is nice that's about it for him. I know that it is going to end up being a menage but for me that's not a deal breaker but in this case I think it's a shame. However story is great and definitely overcoming my current apathy for academy set books. Looking forward to book three.
