5.0 out of 5 starsCrisp audio perfect for the lounge room.
Reviewed in Australia on 4 November 2021
I'm really happy with these speakers. I've bought these as L/R pair for my Yamaha receiver and they are paired with a good quality centre speaker, a sub and two small rear speakers.

They have replaced a pair of big old floor speakers with huge paper cones, and while those really filled the room with sound, it was sometimes a bit muddy.

I was concerned that these wouldn't have enough guts to really fill the space, especially on movie nights, but I was wrong. They are ample for my living room (approx 4M x 8M) and the sound is crisp and clear, accurately reproducing both my favourite music, and giving TV and movies the clarity needed.

It is nice having a sub to fill in the extra bass notes, but I turned it off and was still very happy with what they offer. A worthwhile purchase! I may even get another pair to replace my old surrounds next :)

1.0 out of 5 starsDisappointed.

You hear the name Polk Audio and you would expect excellence. I was mistaken.
The enclosures are ultra light. Giving you the feel that they are cheaply made.
High range is ok but not that crisp and clear. The Bass sounds absolutely dreadful mainly due to the light and cheaply made enclosures. If you get these make sure you have a sub woofer. You will need it.
If you are using these for rear speakers, then they will probably do ok
More then likely I will be sending mine back.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing.

I’m a little biased because I have worked around and radio stations, concert halls and theaters. I know what the speakers are supposed to sound like, and this is not it. The bass is a joke, not much treble, and mostly mids, so the sound is very tinny. I bought these as my main living room speakers but should’ve known better because as always, you get what you pay for. These would be “just ok” as rear channel speakers on a surround sound system, which I think is what they were meant to be. Will return.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great looking speakers, terrible sound

I really liked the look and size of these speakers. Unfortunately they just sound terrible. They sound tinny, and extremely distorted. I promise you I'm not an audiophile (Although ironically a few audiophile sites gave them great reviews....) For a bit more money, I replaced them with a pair of Jamo S 801's and am much happier. I can't get over how terrible these sounded. They looked great though, and I liked they had the front firing bass ports. But I didn't buy them to look at...

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad !!!

I have been using four of these 2 Front 2 Rear. The sound is terrible. There is something missing in the sound, like a hole. I've got HTiB speakers that came with an old Onkyo package that sound better. I am gonna replace but not with Polk. If they could sell something this bad the rest make me leery.
Wish I knew how these get such good reviews. I know they don't cost very much but they don't need to be this bad. Save your money.

1.0 out of 5 stars No power cord, or any cords, or wires, or even anything telling me what cords or wires I need
Reviewed in the United States on 27 December 2020

Apparently you have to be an electrician to set these up. The speakers are well made, but there is no power cord, and no wires or cords to connect the speakers to my phonograph. I have no idea what wires I would need to buy. Why would you sell anything without the necessary tools to make it work. Now I get to spend my time and money packing these up and sending them back.

1.0 out of 5 stars I Fell For The Positive Reviews.

I bought these based on the reviews. I've got a 30 yr old pair of cheap Realistic Minimus 7 speakers that sound 10 times better. That's not a good thing. These little Polks suck.

1.0 out of 5 stars No cables/cords included

Arrived with zero cords / cables. Just two speakers, and nothing with which to connect them to my desktop; nor any power cord either. I cannot comment on the sound quality due to this compete lack of connector cords / cables. Returning for a refund.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst Money Ever Spent

This was the worse purchase I ever made here...I can't hear a thing from this speakers and customer service has been reluctant to help. I'm still waiting for their response--10+ months later. I would never recommend it. I lost all respect for Polk Audio.

1.0 out of 5 stars A week listening, and they must be returned

They were good until a week into using them. The right speaker now distorts. Very disappointing. I picked up their sub too, to match....... not excited about that purchase either now. If you listen to loud music you might consider other options.

1.0 out of 5 stars I returned these

I didn't know I needed a receiver of some kind to use these cute speakers. I returned them. My Sony TV is two years old and has dreadful sound. I was trying to solve it. But no.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad cone after installed
Reviewed in the United States on 2 April 2021

I actually have the complete set (7.2). T50s up front, T30 center & T15s for my front highs and now today I got my rear surrounds for the back to replace a pair of older bookshelf speakers. The pair that came in after I've mounted them to the stands(drilled holes for the screws) has a "buzzing" from the cone.... brand new speakers and polk sent out a bad cone. And worse im sure I can't return them now because I mounted brackets to them. Very disappointing
