Sitting here in the Marco Polo lounge with 1.5gb left after 3 weeks.
Went to London, Paris, Strasbourg and Venice. Worked at every point along the way including the train trips between cities. Running dual Sim so when it lost connection i could see the other sim usually had also lost connection.
Had a data restriction indication in Italy but it still worked. Used fine as a hotspot too with up to 4 others using it, very slow but still good enough for emails.
Managed a video call on Facebook in every country.
Bought 2 Sims for the 4 of us and would definately recommend, will be getting another one for my next European trip.
Checking balance was as simple as going to the 3 website and clicking on balance.

I bought this for a trip to Italy recently. The instructions were simple enough, we left Montreal and connected through Munich. I inserted the card in Germany and everything seemed to work fine. Caught our connection to Florence and still seemed OK. I then had nothing but problems after 24 hrs, despite having a good cell signal. I got a hold of support easily enough and they said I was having problems because I inserted it in Germany then flew to Italy. I was under the impression that this shouldn't matter from the description. It did work for a few hours then back to no service and being unable to dial out despite having coverage. I was able to receive texts and calls anytime though. Seemed to work just OK in larger centers but completely inadequate out of the cities. We weren't anywhere I would expect to have a problem and decided to just roam like home through our normal carrier and had no problems at all. If you are driving in Italy, YOU NEED CELL COVERAGE TO ALERT YOU TO THE SPEED CAMERAS ON THE AUTOSTRATA with WAZE app. Very disappointed and a complete waste of money. I would ask for my money back if I thought I would get it.

We are returning this card. We are currently in Italy and unable to use the card. It worked intermittently for one day. Now no one is responding from the company to assist us. It has NO SERVICE. We have sent 3 messages each initially to the company to activate the account. There is a 24 hour delay to activate it. 3 responses initially two in Dutch one in English telling me it does not work in Canada. We are in Italy I responded. It did work intermittently for a day. Now nothing. Very frustrating as we know we set it up correctly and it doesn’t have service and no responses from the company at all. Initially they responded right away.

I bought four of these SIMs for the family to use on two European vacations we have coming up this summer. They provide a decent voice and text allowance with a large data allowance and English web site and customer service. We plan to use the service in Scotland, England, Norway and Greece. I activated one of the SIMs here in the USA to verify it worked, which it did. I also registered on the Three web site which appears to continue the proud tradition of unbelievably horrible web sites established by Vodafone and Orange. At least it allows me to see something about the account status and perhaps contact customer service if I need to. Topping up needs to be done with either a credit card that has a UK address, or a voucher. So if you are not a UK person to top up you need to either have such a credit card, or know someone in the UK who will let you use their card, or get someone to buy you a voucher there. If you can make do with the initial loaded service credit (expires 30 days after first use) then you don't need to top up.

I'm using an iPhone 6s and it did not require manual APN setup -- it just worked straight away after inserting the SIM. Currently roaming on AT&T's network in the US it gets HSPA+ service (not LTE) but using speedtest.net I get 8Mbits down 1 Mbit up which I think is pretty reasonable for International roaming. If I remember I will update this review once I've tried the service in Paris next week.

Update: In France these SIMs worked nicely roaming initially on Orange, then mysteriously switching to Bouygues after a few days (we didn't change location). No LTE service of course but that was expected. Service via HSPA+ was certainly adequate.

I bought this thinking it would help me use my cellphone in Europe.
Sadly, I wasn't able to use it and the support team was aweful. Every day, I would contact them to get help with my card and, every time, they would tell me that it was a small issue and that I was flagged as a priority. At first, I believed them, but after 4 days, I lost hope and I asked them to call me or to put in touch with a manager or someone who could receive my complain. Since then, every time I would try to contact the support team, they had ''technical issues'' and couldn't help me. I ended up buying another card in Europe, from Orange and I had absolutely no problem with it.

Bought this for my trip to Europe. When I ordered it, I was nervous because of the other reviews. Then I received it, and what I got did not look like what I expected. I contacted the seller and they assured me it was what I ordered and that it was pre-loaded based on my order, and it would work. They were right :) I bought a backup because I did not trust it, but this card worked perfectly! It was super easy to authorize, super easy to setup, and within a minute I was up and going in Europe. Service was great - yeah, in the remoter areas it's spotty, but that's not unusual. I was very happy with this card in the end, and DO recommend it!

I've attached a picture of what I received. The packaging does not match the image/description of the product I bought, but it does work as expected. So if you receive this do not fear!!
