Impressive for a compact projector

This projector is fantastic as an addition to your living room setup if you have plain white walls or are willing to grab a projection screen. The unit itself is quite compact (see the picture with the beverage can for scale) and is easy to mount onto a tripod to raise the position or avoid ceiling mounting.

Here are some of the pros I found while using the projector:
+ incredibly lightweight means easy to set up and put away
+ tripod mounting thread (I highly recommend getting one)
+ good brightness overall
+ easy to use with multiple inputs (HDMI, USB, composite) for streaming devices, media players, and game consoles

And the cons:
- picture quality leaves something to be desired, especially at further distances
- there is visible chromatic aberration which makes shots with lots of light colors lack contrast and definition
- the lens tilt causes severe fuzziness at the bottom of the projected image (to avoid this, you should mount the projector keeping it as parallel to the ground as possible)
- sound board is weak which causes some distortion with audio during playback through external 3.5mm speaker wires

Overall, I am thrilled with this purchase for a cost-competitive alternative to going to the theater during COVID, but I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for a permanently affixed device.

I do however, HIGHLY recommend this for quick movie nights or video game sessions with family and friends. We have had a blast so far!

I miss going to the movies (it’s 2020 and COVID has caused all the movie theaters to close) so my wife convinced me to get a projector for movie night in the back yard. I wasn’t sure at first when I came across this one but I have to say this is one of the best projectors I’ve used.
The interface is simple and clean. And the image quality is amazing at that price. I’ve Only watched a few films on it so far but I plugged my PS4 into it and I’m loving the visuals. I find myself gaming on this all the time.
Great for dorm rooms or entry level basement setup.

Didn't want to spend a ton on a projector, and found this one at a good price and good features according to the descripton. Did not dissapoint. I don't have a proper screen (I am projecting on a wall) or installation but the image looks great and in a huge size. See the photos - one with the kitchen lights on, and the other one with all lights off. Sound is good as well, but I used it also with a sound bar I have and is much better. Really easy to use. I used it with my roku device and works great. Good value for the money

Portable, fun to use

Ever since being stuck at home more often, I have always wanted a projector. My bed already had a white cloth in front of where I lay so once I got it, it was perfect! The quality is beautiful at a minimum of 4 feet distance. In occasion I would take it over to my family and friends houses for movie nights because it is so portable. If you have the projector further, you can readjust it using the knob. There is a screw for you to use if you want to adjust the height as well. I find that it is so useful to use a chromecast with it because I spend most of my time streaming things straight from my phone rather than my laptop. It comes with HDMI and other video cables, but all I really need is a usb slot and my chromecast to use it. There is less of a mess and easy to use. The sound quality is not bad, but if you use it for a larger group, it is recommended that you connect it to a speaker. Overall I think this projector is nice and portable. Only issue is that the fan is pretty loud, but depending on what you watch, you could probably just ignore it like I do

Recognizing this projector's price, I'm happy with the quality and features. Don't expect a similar experience as a $1,000 projector, and you should be happy with it.
The projector comes well packaged and has a usable remote. I connected an Amazon Fire Stick to it and powered it by plugging into the projector's USB. That worked great leaving it at 1080p source (projector is 480p output) and after changing the sound format from Dolby to just stereo. I would have liked the projector to have stronger speakers. The built in speakers work, but don't get loud enough or have enough range to really enjoy a movie. I plugged in an external speaker, which greatly improved the experience. There is, of course, a fan built into the projector to keep the bulb running cooler, which is background noise you need to overcome.
As you can see in the photo, I was able to fill the wall of the room, over 150 inches diagonal, no problem, by setting up the project on the opposite side. The color was good even on the beige paint. Focusing and keystone correction are manual adjustments, using the wheels on top near the lens. Using the keystone correction changes the focus, and I had trouble keeping both the top and bottom of the image in focus simultaneously when at the extremes (15 degree) of the keystone limits.
