Works beautifully ... with Raspberry Pi 3 B+

I've seen reviews panning this product, but I saw one that said it was fine with the Raspberry Pi and so bought with confidence. That review was spot on. You do need to press the "Analogue" button to program the joysticks as well as the D-pad, but the Pi recognised it no problem whatsoever. Bargain! The cords aren't very long, but they're long enough if you're going to use them at a desk ... or sitting on the floor in front of the tele. Raspberry Pi users can rest assured this will work for them. It's a bonus they look like PSX controllers.

My controller works well for the first few sessions of gaming, so I decided to buy another one for my sister. Then suddenly, the right stick was just not functioning anymore.
I've used a few software to check the calibrations but they all show the same results, still haven't gotten around to open it up to check the hardware tho.

EDIT: After some troubleshooting, it now works fine!

So the main reason I bought this was a retro games project I'm working on with a Raspberry Pi 4. Pleased to say it works straight away on Lakka, very responsive.

Cable is perhaps a little short but I guess retro games aren't HD so you need to sit closer to the screen anyway! That being said, it's about 1.2M long I think so much longer than the one that came with my mini NES and it's USB so you can always buy an extension cable.

For $12 or so you can't go wrong - great purchase.

I knew I was going to receive a cheap, low quality product when I ordered this controller, but I at least expected it to work.
The device stunk of plastic, felt unnaturally light and tacky, the bumpers, buttons, and sticks were clunky and horrible to touch. When I plugged it into my PC, the device wasn't even recognized.

Take my advice and buy an official XBox controller for PC. I did, and I couldn't be happier.

I have a dell laptop with windows 10 and it works perfectly. The only issue I can find is the response time of some keys are a bit slow. You won't notice it all the time but sometimes you can feel the difference. Also, pressing the analog key every time before using it in a game is a bummer as I forget it a lot.

Overall, the controller is good and works fine!! Will surely recommend if you want to use a controller on your PC.

After having this for such a short time to enjoy some gaming on my pc .. this had decided to give up the ghost. It’s cheap and it shows.
If I had used this daily I wouldn’t be so harsh.. but it was an impulse buy to enjoy some casual “Fall Guys” ... alas.. this can’t even cope with casual use, my suggestion is if your looking for a pc controller.. spend more than a tenner (£10).. this “car boot sale version”just doesn’t cut it
