Just thought I’d leave a review for this product since there isn’t too many written yet. I was looking for a travel case for my Xbox One X because I have an upcoming beach trip and of course decided to check out Amazon. I found one case I liked but it was purely for organization and didn’t have much protection and I found another one shaped like a hard brief case but didn’t offer much space. So I went with RLSOCO’s case because it seemed to be a good middle ground between space and protection.Reviewed in the United States on 7 May 2019
I wasn’t sure what to expect because it didn’t have any detailed reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The build quality seems really solid overall with a nice hard shell exterior. In general the materials used throughout the case have a nice upscale feel. The exterior zipper actually feels well made and has a durable piping all around the case.
Inside the case the interior is lined with a pretty nice soft interior. You have 2 controller compartments on the bottom layer accompanied by a general storage compartment. The middle layer is where the Xbox is stored surrounded by 2 soft pads on top and bottom. And the top layer has a general storage zipper pocket and 4 separate disk slots. There’s plenty of storage for the Xbox itself along with the power cable, hdmi etc. and a few games. Along with 2 controllers of course. It’s not the largest case out there but it’s definitely not the smallest and has enough room for me and I would say there’s enough space for most people.
I only have a couple negatives/suggestions: I think the center layer could use some more padding just to keep the console even more secure, but the current setup does seem sufficient. And in one of the promotional pictures on the bottom layer it a pair of headphones are shown on the right storage compartment; I do not think most actual gaming headphones will snugly fit in that spot, unless they are collapsible. My Astro A40s do not appear to fit ,and if you have cables, base stations, or mixamps that go with your headphones it might be difficult to find enough space. This is fine for me though because I don’t travel with my Astros.
Despite those couple minor complaints this case is a solid mix of durability/protection and storage. The case is also well built with good materials, doesn’t feel like it will break. Overall, it does what I need it to and it looks pretty good.
