Book arrived well packaged in a waterproof envelope.
Upon reading this book I have been very impressed indeed.
The book is extremely well laid out and presented in a way that everyone can experience the value of the information contained. It has a entire index on bird parts ie feather types, parts of the bird and all clearly laid out with images.
The book as said has very high quality images and illustrations of all the species on Europe and the UK, presented not only on specific species, but also on species of bird akin to the main bird in question. IE if you saw a specific bird and looked it up, there would be 3 other birds similar to the first that would be shown. The book notes the similarities between these birds too so you can identify correctly the bird seen and not possibly mistake the bird for a similar. Absolutely fantastic if you are keen on bird watching or just generally want to know the birds in your own garden.
A lovely little book easy to use as a coffee table book of take with you out in the field. It contains so much information but won’t add much weight to your satchel on a Sunday walk.
