Awful pressing.

Very disappointed. Truely awful recording. Don’t know what pressing it is, but avoid it. My old mp3 version sounds better than this. The music/songs of course go without saying, but this is the worst vinyl recording I own. Sounds super compressed, no dynamics, just can’t listen to it. It will be going in the bin.

This is one of the greatest Albums ever produced . I was curious how much better it would sound on the SACD format. I was not disappointed I now hear new and interesting musical components for the first time and it’s like a new album . This format takes it to a
whole new level as you would hope it would .
If you have a SACD ( Super Audio CD Player) or a blu ray player like Sony’s who have the SACD capability then it’s worth the investment. I know we live in a world that mostly stream their music nowadays but you are missing out on a wonderful audio experience!

I bought this vinyl for my son but the quality is very poor it skips and sticks on some tracks plus the one I bought had scratches all over it so sent it back for refund, I then bought the same record from the big high street store as a replacement imagine my surprise when we played that one it skipped and stuck on the same tracks as the first one so I can only assume that the whole batch of this vinyl record are faulty.

I have a fantastic hifi. (£3k speakers, 600w amp, brand new turntable).
I decided to get some classic albums and this is definitely one but the sound quality is very poor. It's like listening to the music through a mushy deadening filter. I know my kit is not to blame as I have other vinyl (inc an original of Tango in the Night from the 80s) that sounds exactly as it should. Maybe I am just unlucky and got a dud pressing. I will try and have it replaced.

Se non avete un impianto HiFi, probabilmente non noterete come è stato compresso l'audio in questa edizione di "Rumours". Ma per quelli poveretti che ce l'abbiamo, il "fizz" è insopportabile. All'inizio pensavo fosse la mia percezione, ma dopo ho verificato comparando l'onda dell'edizione Japonese de 1984 e questa, ed è evidente che hanno fatto un prodotto veramente pessimo. Questo è uno dei migliori album della storia, registrato veramente bene, non si giustificano queste versioni di bassa qualità che solo storpiano l'esperienza musicale. Non lo comprate se amate la musica.

Poor Pressing, even to an amateur ear!

I'm very much an amateur with Vinyls. This was bought as a Christmas present. Out of the 6 I've started collecting, this is the first I've come across where there is clearly something wrong.

1. This was delivered with NO packaging. It was sent with the address on top of the plastic shrink wrap - not a good start as vinyls can be fragile.

2. As soon as it turned on the turntable I could hear a repetitive rubbing noise. I've compared this vinyl with all others and this one is about 0.5 - 1cm larger than others causing it to rub on the stylus rest.

3. SKIPPING! About 10 seconds into second hand news (quite apt as I'm sure there's second hand LPs running better than this) it's skipping. This is frequent throughout the first two songs on Side A.

Overall this seems like a very poor pressing, the LP looks a bit warped, it skips and the overall pitch feels wrong. Very disappointed given it gives a poor representation of an otherwise stellar album, which is why I started a collection in the first place. Going to request a replacement.. hopefully I don't experience the same otherwise... Never going back again?

Edit: I notice the description says this is supposed to be a 2013 remaster however the vinyl I was sent was copyrighted 1977 and 2009 meaning this was the 2009 print, NOT the remaster.
