Headset with bonus cooling gel

Great sounding, and very comfortable headset for prolong use. Its also feels well constructed. My two issues are with the software, and the mic.

The mic sensitivity is a little inconsistent, and the quality is adequate. Its ok for general chat, but not suitable if you want to record anything. I tried playing around with some of the settings to improve the mic, but it doesn't look like it has had much effect.

Secondly, the software is a little clunky to use, but is typical of any razer product.

However despite these flaws, this headset is good value for the price.

I’m a Nintendo gaming girl, and I love to pair my gaming experience with discord chat. My family can be very loud and sometimes disruptive when I’m in the middle of a comp game. But it’s only been a day using this headset and I love how I can simultaneously mute myself when needed, and it also comes with a double aux cord, so I an connect my headset to my pc for discord and my switch for gaming. I wish I purchased this during the current deal! But its still worth every dollar! I can’t wait to collect the rest of the pink razer gaming accessories :)

sounds good, feels good the mic is super crisp but it might be finicky to set up if you have to use the headphone mic splitter cable it comes with but i managed to get to work eventually and it hasnt stopped working ever since. the surround sound 7.1 is extremly nice after you set it up. i would recommend it if your looking for a good affordable headset with a above average mic

It's a definite upgrade from my previous headset (which doesn't have a mic..). It does have a weight but I think I'm just not used to headsets since I've always worn earphones and my previous headset was a cheap, flimsy one that came with my digital piano lol. I like that it goes over my ears so there's not much pressure on the head and it doesn't clamped down too hard that it becomes uncomfortable. Definitely a great headset, and the fact that I caught this one during Boxing Day sale is a plus.

this headset actually amazing. Alright here iz everything u need 2 know. I got this headset for 125$ (AUD) and the normal price is over 170$ (AUD) so basically its an amazing price for what you get, and on top of that it LITERALLY came WEEKS before it was meant to, and i only had to wait about 6-7 days before it arrived. the sound quality is nice and crisp, and perfect for gaming, you can hear every little thing and i love it. So in my opinion, its definitely a steal considering how good it is AND the price it was at. Hope this review helps!!

I would not recommend these headphones as the volume in-line control brushes up against you and constantly needs to be readjusted. If you're having trouble getting headset to work with Xbox, make sure your controller has the latest update.

Huge problems, over priced, and really bad customer service. Keeps switching off from Xbox. My other kid got hyperx and just rocks, the best, easy and smooth. The Razer mics were just problematic, both for PS4 and Xbox one.

Some may wonder whether these headphones really are that good. I’m gonna tell you a story. Call of Duty Warzone. It’s the last circle and I’m alone, my teammates dead. As they speak words of encouragement to me, I think GOD THATS GOOD SOUND QUALITY. Situated in Riverside, I sit on the top floor of a house...waiting. I close my eyes, my ears are my weapon of choice and they tell me everything. I hear footsteps below me running up the stairs to my right. I open my eyes and send a RPG rocket at him. Dead. And I think again, GOD THATS GOOD SOUND QUALITY. Separating my team’s voices from the action is too easy. I don’t even have to try, and again I think GOD THATS GOOD SOUND QUALITY. The gas is moving in again. 4 Players left. A team of three, and me. This is it I tell myself. I hear a door open across the road and the soft sound of footsteps running up the stairs to the top floor of the building. I train my RPG on the window. Two come into sight. Dead. As the German voices cry through the headset “NEIN” I yell, “take that you krauts”. And again I think, GOD THATS GOOD SOUND QUALITY. Final man. 1v1. Mano e Mano. RPG is my game, but the sound quality of these headphones is my game. As I stare out the window at the two dead bodies, I hear the delicate sound of a door peaking open below me. This is it.
I jump out of the window, spring round the side of the house, hear him reloading, smash through the door, my MP5 in hand, I scream F*** OFF GRASSHOPPER, and he’s dead. Simple victory. And for the final time that evening I think GOD THATS GOOD SOUND QUALITY. Another win for the books, another win for the boys, another win for England against three pathetic Germans. I blast Pirates of the Caribbean through the headset and my friends say to me “God thats good sound quality”. I smile. This is my life now. Pure sound quality at all times, wins, ALL THE TIME.

Love these! I have a tiny head so buying a headset was a stressful experience. My old headset used to ache after a while as they’d press my glasses against my ears or squash my piercings. However, these have completely removed this problem from gaming for me. The extendable mic is also a nice touch as it means you can move it away from your face when you’re not in a party. The comfort and sound quality are both high quality :)

Ich wollte schon immer ein Razer Headset haben und habe dieses bestellt obwohl ich Angst hatte, dass es vergebene Liebesmüh ist. (Aber was Mann will, will Mann eben.) Schließlich ist Razer ja DIE Gamingmarke schlechthin. Allerdings wusste ich aus Reviews, Bewertungen und aus dem Bekanntenkreis, dass Razer Heasets so ziehmlich die schlechteste Verarbeitung, Qualität, Langlebigkeit und Tonqualität haben. Und nun ja, teils stimmt dies und teils nicht.
Zumindest bezogen auf das Razer Kraken 2019.

Einzelne Bewertungspunkte:

-Verarbeitung/Qualität: 8/10 (Fühlt sich gut an. Alles aus Metal außer die Muscheln, dass hätte es dann auch noch sein dürfen. Das Leder oben ist MEGA empfindlich, ihr werdet jeden Kratzer und jede Druckstelle für IMMER sehen.)

-Langlebigkeit: Kann ich nichts zu sagen. Allerdings ist mir auch noch nie ein Headset kaputt gegangen. Einfach vorsichtig mit seine Sachen umgehen hilft hier wohl weiter.

-Bequemlichkeit: 7/10 (Geht in Ordnung: Das Kopfband drück lang mittellanger Zeit schon sehr. Ohrpolster sind recht weich und bequem)

-Tonqualität: Oh mann... das muss man wirklich aufteilen.
----------------Generelle Tonqualität: 6/10 Bei Videos ect. ist die Tonqualität passabel, aber nicht gut.
------------------Gaming Tonqualität: 8/10 Alles in Ordnung, aber nicht mega. Schritte sind zB. recht gut wahrnehmbar.
--------------------Musik Tonqualität: 3/10 TUT EUCH DAS NICHT AN. Ich habe noch nie, NIE, einen Kopfhörer getragen, dessen musikalische Wiedergabe so dermaßen unausgeglichen und leider einfach schlecht war. Der Sound ist unglaublich flach, der Bass ist übertrieben präsent, verfügt aber über keinerlei Stärke und Druck. Bei Musikstücken bei denen viel auf einmal los ist und bei Transitions (Übergängen) bekommt das Headset Angst und verkrümelt sich dahin wo es keiner jemals finden wird (nicht einmal Gollum). Es kommt schlicht nichts mehr als flache Matschepampe bis die Musikpassage sich beruhigt. Nach ewigen Einstellen konnte ich das Headset dazu bringen Künstler wie Rammstein einigermaßen brauchbar wieder zu geben. Klassische Musik braucht man mit dem Headset gar nicht erst probieren, tut es einfach nicht. So Gedöns wie Rap HipHop ect. wird wohl klar gehen, da gehört ja nix dazu.

-Mikrofon: Keine Angabe (Wer Headset Mikrofone verwendet, geht eh am Leben vorbei)

Noch eine Notiz an die kühlenden Ohrpolster mit ?Geleinlage?. Absoluter Fake. Das Headset trägt sich wärmer als jedes andere, welches ich besessen habe. Und es wird auch immer wärmer. Die Ohrmuscheln sehen offen aus, sind es aber nicht. Und wo die Luft steht und nicht entweichen kann, wird es wärmer. So einfach ist das.
Also entweder offen oder exotische Kühllösungen wie beim OMEN Mindframe.

PS: Das Lautstärkerad am Kabel ist recht leichtgängig. Mal sehen wielange es dauert, bis ich es festkleben werde.

Fazit: Wer wirklich ein Razer will, weil es ein Razer ist>der wird mit dem Kraken 2019 zufrieden sein können. Wer aber Markenunabhängig ist, sollte lieber woanders nachsehen.
Gaming kann das Razer wohl, aber mehr wirklich leider nicht. Da es aber ein "Gaming" Headset ist, habe ich mich zu 3 von 5 Sternen durchgerungen.

Nachtrag: Ich habe es ein Wochenende wirklich versucht das Headset zu mögen, es gibt aber nicht. Es ist einfach nicht gut und sein Geld nicht Wert, leider.

Ci tengo a precisare che sfortunatamente per vari motivo io e il mondo degli headset da gaming non siamo mai andati d'accordo, ho avuto tantissime cuffie da Astro a Turtle Beach, sono sempre andato alla ricerca della cuffia perfetta, quella che non stringe troppo, che non pesa, ma sopratutto che si possa tenere anche in estate...alla fine ho provato anche queste Kraken, un po' con riluttanza e con qualche speranza, ma alla fine mi posso ritenere molto soddisfatto, la cuffia presenta tutti i plus che cerco in un paio di cuffie, è leggerissima, all'interno dell'imbottitura è presente un gel refrigerante che tiene freschi i "cuscinetti" e inoltre avvolgono completamente l'orecchio senza toccarlo minimamente, e cosa non da poco non stringe...quasi non si sente in testa, direi promosso a pieni voti

Gespielt wird am Computer damit.
Vorab bin ich der Meinung - viele Rezensionen liegen auf mangelnden Einstellungen zurück.
Es war mühsam, aber nach vielen Optionen und Einstellungen, habe ich das Rauschen komplett wegbekommen. Ich höre mich auch nicht selber.
Wenn man z.B. in Discord auch die Sensi richtig einstellt, hört sich auch niemand selbst vom Team.

Optik & Verarbeitung sind top.
Ich meine es ist rosa. :D Es gibt bestimmt besseres für den Preis auf dem Markt, aber geil sieht’s aus. Komfort ist gegeben.

Abschließend kann ich nur sagen, ich bin zufrieden. 👍🏻
