      Con: instructions are printed on a tiny instruction booklet. Lacks some clarity to upload/download from an iPhone 6s etc.

      Pro: once you figure out that the file app is the starting point this has to be one of the best and cheapest backup devices for iPhone I could find. I ran 128GB SanDisk and it worked flawlessly once I got the hang of it.
      My only recommendation is that the instructions be expanded or made available as a download to eliminate the small print instructions. I only gave it 4 stars due to the instructions being so small you need a magnifier to read them. Otherwise this product would have gotten five stars.

      Item came well packaged with good English directions. That said, the product was so easy to use I could have figured it out without reading them. Using iOS 13.5.1, just plug it in and open up photos, the import tab on the bottom shows all pictures on the card. I bought this with the intention of checking on trail cams and it seems to suit that purpose well. For reference I have Wild game cameras and images open and look just like they do on a computer. The reader seems as solid as any other lightning cable Apple product. Only qualm I have is SD cards only insert about 1/3 of the way. I would definitely recommend this reader.

      I was a little nervous since my phone is an older version whether the SD card would work with it or not (I have an iPhone 7). To my delight, this SD card reader IS COMPATIBLE with iPhone 7! Yay!

      I had an old SD card reader for an android which was difficult to use. With the android one, I couldn't find the file opener on my phone, and reading the files was super difficult. This one is way easier to use than the android one. It might be because I'm now using an iPhone which may naturally be an easier platform for this kind of stuff, but it could also be that this card reader is pretty straight forward, plug and go kind of action.

      I am using this for my hunting trail cameras. It is light weight, small and compact - should not add extra weight to my day pack. This SD card reader having both the large and micro SD card slots increases the versatility of this device for the different trail cams that have different SD card sizes. In other words, this is the one SD card reader to rule them all.

      I haven't had to charge my phone and view pictures at the same time, but I imagine that if I was looking at hundreds of photos and my phone was running low on charge, this could be a handy feature. Also for those folks who have way cooler iPhones than me, like iphone 9 and 13's, I added photos of the insert that describes some pretty cool features you all have over us iPhone 7's. I would recommend this to any hunter who needs a reliable lightweight card reader.
