El libro es: divertido, ingenioso y con una estructura sencilla (cartas de un adolescente sobre su año escolar en un nuevo colegio) .-La guía es bastante sencillota, yo prefiero el libro.

It does its job! Giving a short overview this little and thin book is helpful. My daughter used it as a guide for her term paper in english.

An aid for non-native speaking teachers of English.

The book itself is an absolutely brilliant work that I recommend for use in my South East Asian senior high school/lower university level reading classes. Not only is the content applicable and interesting for the school and early love relationship experiences, the actual book provides many launch points for discussion of cross cultural understanding. Teachers can even use the discussion points provided at the end of the book to:
a) stimulate discussion without putting out effort to develop their own discussion points and
b) check to see whether they (the teachers) got it.
In case b) did not work out well for the teacher, this guide expands the help provided in the base book and can help non-native teachers of English discover the basis for some of the cultural references.
