Well, had to toss it in the garbage. Started hearing REALLY bad feedback - while driving. Kept having to jiggle cables, pause and restart CD (since it had randomly began stopping the playing of CD). Ugh, I hate the car manufacturers for taking such a simple thing out so that we have to deal with these piles of trash - while driving - since it works before I pull out of driveway stops somewhere later. The other thing though, the pause resume/play button is too small for this while driving - it's the definition of distracted driver. But the battery seemed to always be charged up and when it worked, seemed to resume where it should have. So that was good. I'd buy this again, I probably just got a bad one. But they're not getting my money a second time.
I bought to listen to CD's in my vehicle because newer vehicles don't have CD players built in. So I played some CD's in it. Then I purchase an audio book so I could listen to it while I drive. The CD is in MP3 format but I have no sound. It says it will play them. So either the audio book is bad or the player doesn't play them.
I gave it low ratings because I finally decided to buy another one elsewhere at amazon. I use it in my car but it's way too cumbersome to use. I could not get the "memory" to work properly and sometimes it didn't work at all. After retrying and reading the rather cryptic instructions over and over again, I gave up.. I need a player that repeats the whole disc, starts from where it left off and not require a series of options that are vague and easy to forget. That should be simple and straightforward especially when driving a car so as to avoid accidents! I think it's actually defective but unfortunately it's been a while since I bought it. Not recommended because of it's awkward control features.
We wanted to listen to audiobooks in rental cars with no CD players. This product is either broken or too difficult to use. I can't rate sound or battery life because we never got it to work. Should have sent it back.
