Renovo Ultra Proofer re-establishes the convertible tops original 'as new' waterproof weather barrier.
The recently improved formulation now has the added benefits of UV factor protection and a mould/mildew growth inhibitor to ensure soft tops look like new for longer.
Before applying Ultra Proofer we recommend using Renovo Fabric Soft Top Cleaner according to the ‘severely soiled’ instructions on the bottle to thoroughly clean your convertible top.
Ultra Proofer will help to prevent the harmful penetration of everyday dirt into the fibres of new and old convertible top material and help to keep the re-colour provided by Soft Top Reviver fresher for even longer.

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF DOING THE ROOF DYE REPAIR., DO IT ******BEFORE****** YOU APPLY THIS STUFF.
This product will bead any liquid you put onto a soft top after application, it is brilliant. A 500ml bottle does a medium soft top with a bit left over.
Finally make sure you clean it off the paintwork afterwards - you can polish it off but its a pain so catch it quickly.
Update April 2016 -
I have just re-waterproofed my roof using this great stuff again. I should really have done it last year as it seems that the waterproofing lasts about 1 season, but ran out of time. By way of update I got 500ml to do two coats of the roof again, I think 1 litre as recommended would be overkill. I applied the first coat, waited 4 hours then did a second using a paint kettle and 2 inch brush. To get the proofer to cover the roof you have to "splot" the brush a bit onto the roof and then when it starts to soak in you can spread it with the brush. Again, make sure you don't let the stuff get on the paintwork. This time when it happened I immediately diluted with water and then used a chamois to get off.
I have uploaded a couple of pics showing how I applied it, wrapping a dust sheet around the car, with a before pic showing how soaked the roof was normally and an after pic, plus a quick video of just how good this stuff is. It also helped to have the roof raised slightly off of the A pillar so the proofer didn't drip onto the windscreen and caught on a sheet on the inside instead.
My wife has a 2007 Mazda MX5 with a mohair soft top. Since we have owned it I have not bothered cleaning it once other then get my car washed for a £5.00. As a result, the soft top has lost its natural colour and was covered in mould. I considered replacing it but did not want to pay £600 so I thought I would give this product a shot.
I purchased all three products from RENOVO.
The cleaner, the recolour and the waterproofer.
I used the cleaner with cold water and it did not work. I then changed up. I scrubbed the roof with boiling hot water and then applied the cleaner. I waited an hour and then scruffed again with boiling water, rinsing off with cold water. I did this twice and my roof was completely clean.
There is enough of the cleaner liquid to do the Mazda roof 5 times.
I then recoloured and BOOM!. Brand new roof. I did this twice (more then enough for twice over)
I then waterproofed, again enough for more then twice over.
I highly recommend these items.
I am now buying some more waterproofer so i can do the roof once a month.
Followed the instructions to the letter Water barely beads, was expecting a lot more, with Fabsil it literally bounces off.
Roof was cleaned and dried properly, was coloured with Renovo dye (again, a bit underwhelmed) and then given 2 coats, with a paintbrush.
In under a month, the mild improvement in water beading has gone.
Would not recommend this at all.
