To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I've purchased the Bose official ear pad replacements before, which are of course good (I've got QC-35s). I thought I'd take a punt and try these aftermarket ones. I'm very impressed. Quality seems good. Were easy to click in by running finger nail around sides and pushing the plastic rim of the cups under the little tabs on the Bose . I didn't use the blue L/R inner material and kept the original Bose ones, It's been a week and these seem just fine. I'll update this review if things go sideways, but so far I'd happily buy again.
I was warned to only buy originals as aftermarket pads don't fit very well. These however fit perfectly. I used my thumbnail to press the sides of the plastic strip in to the catches on the headphones, took me a while to work out how to go about it but I could do it again in a second or two now I know. If you do not have a strong thumbnail, I recon a paddlepop stick would achieve the same outcome.
