A great addition to the Roberts Stream 93i

I bought this as I needed to be able to stream content from my Bluetooth phone and MP3 player to my radio rather than use the Aux cable. Pairing was straightforward and it works a treat. My only grumble is the cost of the item which I think is quite expensive for what it is. It save d me have to replace the radio with a Bluetooth version (wish I had done this from the start!)

This is very good and works well. Useful if you want to turn your Roberts Radio Stream 93i DAB/DAB+/FM RDS into a sound system, but NOT for connection to Bluetooth speakers. For that, you need a 3.5 mm cord that goes into the rear of the radio.

Power cut issues

I bought this device about 2 years ago. It's a good addition to the unit, and I had no problems pairing etc.; however, when there's a power cut, the unit flashes (the blue connection light). So, if the device is used as an integral part of the unit, you may be woken during the night by a bright blue flashing light. If the unit is not in your bedroom, this may not be an issue, but mine is, so it is a problem. Had I known this problem would occur on a power cut, I would not have purchased. As a result it spends most of its time on the cabinet behind the unit, collecting dust.

Once connected to a Bluetooth server, superb quality output is obtained from the Roberts Stream. Getting the device to associate can be problematical. My USB Logitech BT adapter worked after many attempts from Win 10 Pro PC. Switching to a Plugable dongle improved reliability. The source PC is in an adjacent room and works perfectly well. Now any audio source available to the PC is broadcast from the Roberts with its customary high quality. My difficulties were due to the limited BT transmission range.

This is a brilliant addition to the radio. It doesn't affect the look of the stereo and once it's plugged into the back, you don't need to remove it ever again! Highly recommend.
