How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

How can you go past one of the greatest works in history. Tragic yet every moment before so beautiful. Words do create love, it’s that simple.

Cheap paper. Disappointing.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 April 2019Verified Purchase
I know it's incredibly cheap but the paper is so thin it's almost dangerous to turn the pages for fear of tearing it. The pages are also a light brown or yellow colour, not white. My daughter needed this for school - she needed to be able to annotate the pages. I wouldn't try to write on this - a pencil or biro would just go through the page. Any liquid ink would soak in like a blotter. I know you get what you pay for but even this is poor.

Exactly what I ordered for my child (school).
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 March 2020Verified Purchase
This was exactly what I ordered. I have to say the plot was a little far fetched and a bit too ‘West Side Story’ for my liking. Whoever this Will Shakespeare guy is, I don’t expect he’ll do very well. This story definitely needed more aliens and at least one robot to make it a page turner.

Excellent for Secondary School
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 March 2019Verified Purchase
This book is, in my opinion, the best version for those in Year 9-10. It has definitions of words/phrases that you are unsure on the left side of the text. Very helful when reading in class to further develop your understanding of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

Great edition to help with GCSE English
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 January 2021Verified Purchase
I needed to get this book for my daughter who's studying for her GCSE's and it's the same author of the play romeo and juliet. It's made learning for her subject, English, a lot easier.
It did come slightly marked which was a little annoying but as the spine of the book had been broken we took it to be new.
That's the only reason it's 4 starts not 5.
