Raina Telegemier has finally released her first book, smile! I recommend this book for 10 - 16 year olds. This book is about raina herself, and the dental drama she faces after knocking out her two front teeth. Along with that comes school drama, an earthquake and some not so nice friends. Its a great graphic novel for kids! = ) !!!!!!!!

Raina, you have had a lot of complications in your life, and in my perspective highschool is the hardest part of being a teenager, I'm in 6th grade and COVID-19 has ruined my last year of primary school and I'm in highschool after this, but anyway I loved your book, Caitlin

This is one of the few graphic novels I’ve got that I’ve not read yet! Thought this was great. As a braves wearer myself (I had 4 teeth taken out!) I totally could sympathise with Raina! A great story about getting braces, friendship, growing up and going to high school.

This is a really good book. I would totally recommend getting it. I would recommend this book to ages 11-13, I loved it. It is quite a quick read. I would just like to mention that this book is written in a comic book style. I don't think there is any problem with this I just wasn't expecting it. I like this book because it's new and original and very realistic. Definitely worth getting. Buy it! :-) 5 stars
