4.0 out of 5 starsGood performance as expected
Reviewed in Australia on 5 March 2020
Bought 2 128GB Sandisk Extreme Pro 170MB/s for my Lumix G9 from Amazon website & sold by Amazon. Performance is the same as the Sandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s for the same price. Don’t expected any faster. The reason I bought this was to upgrade to a larger card capacity. Would love to have a faster card like the Extreme Pro 300MB/s but it is way too expensive. If you intend to use this card for 4K the Extreme Pro 170MB/s is absolutely good enough. By the way the cards have been verified by Sandisk as 100% genuine or 100% authentic and I didn’t have any issue registered them on Sandisk website. Highly recommended!

2.0 out of 5 starsWill not achieve advertised 170MB/s read speed!
Reviewed in Australia on 28 November 2019
I bought this card hoping to achieve the advertised read speeds. The card does not achieve its advertised read speed of 170MB. You will get around 90MB/s. I tested this on two cards. First was the original card that they sent and the second card was a replacement card. Both cards read speed was around 90MB/s.

I am using Sandisk Imagemate® PRO card reader with the card. I tested the card reader and my computer with Pro Grade cards, and they achieve the advertised speed almost 200MB/s.

For many, the read speed may not be important then this is an absolutely fine card but if you need to transfer large files quickly (say 170MB/s or more) then you are better to look for another card such as Pro Grade.

1.0 out of 5 stars Brand new card says after a night of shooting: File or directory is corrupted and unreadable
Reviewed in Australia on 25 May 2021
Capacity: 128GBStyle: Card OnlyVerified Purchase
I just bought a brand new camera with dual slot. So with the new camera I thought I go and update my SD cards and got the 128gb version twice.

Went out tonight to test my new camera and used both new cards. I just got home and put them in my card reader (tested it on 2 different ones) and both cards are unreadable. I get the error code "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."

I spent hours!!! outdoors testing the cameras and now I ended up with no pictures on 2 brand new cards!

I'm so mad right now, you have no idea!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Misleading Speed Numbers
Reviewed in Australia on 1 September 2020
Capacity: 128GBStyle: Card OnlyVerified Purchase
Product is fine and good value for money, but the speed is not close to the advertised speed. With Blackmagic Disk Speed, I got 90 MBps (Advertised 170 MBps) and 80 MBps (Advertised 90 MBps). Write speed is close enough to the advertised speed, and that was more important to me. So I am not returning the SD card. But just be aware, you won't see 170 MBps. (Test run on iMac Pro with built in UHS‑II SD Card reader, so more than capable of reading & writing much higher speeds than the SD Card)

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for DSLR shooting 4K
Reviewed in Australia on 9 August 2021
Capacity: 128GBStyle: Card OnlyVerified Purchase
I bought this card for the Canon 90D.
A lot of reviews say you need a faster card for faster shooting (sports photography, for example) and certainly for 4K video.

I have tested this card on rapid shot sports photography and it responded excellently and out-performed my expectations. Likewise, I have recorded 4K at 25fps and no lag or dropped frames. Audio perfectly in sync using built-in or input mics. 4K at 50p and higher DID drop frames and have issues. This doesn't bother me, but it might bother you.

I have often found that SanDisk out-performs its own specifications and so I'm glad I didn't spend an extra $200 for the ultra-extreme-pro-superman-marvel-DC-Hulkbuster card. This one does the job perfectly for my needs, which I would say are intermediate level.

I have used SanDisk SD cards for a long time because of the quality and the speed of the card . For weddings , Corporate and family video . The price is always good for the speed and size of the card

5.0 out of 5 stars Playing with Fast Cards
Reviewed in Australia on 19 September 2020
Capacity: 128GBStyle: Card OnlyVerified Purchase
Haven't used this product long enough to give a real honest review but I rated it 5-Stars based on my experience with SanDisk memory cards & SSDs. I upgraded from an 64 GB Sandisk Ultra 80 MB/s card & the increase in writing speed was apparent.
FYI: When inserting an SD card into the card slot of an iMac, you have to deliberately push from the corner of the card closest to the outer edge of the iMac. If you don't insert the SD card as described, the system may not give write permissions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good size card with a fast transfer rate - we love using it!

We've experimented with it taking time lapse pictures every second and the camera managed pretty well transferring the pictures fast which we could not achieve with our other slower cards, so very happy with our purchase ;-)))

5.0 out of 5 stars Good speed and space
Reviewed in Australia on 20 December 2020

It works well with both my laptop and old DSC-HX10 camera which was purchased nearly 9 years ago. It gives a boosted 100+MB/s reading speed during a short time and then stays at 90MB/s later. The writing speed on my laptop built-in card reader keeps 65MB/s. Its usable space is about 119GB on Windows 7. It's a good deal for photographers who have a limited budget on cards.

Formatted the card in-camera (Lumix FZ2500).
First time copying video clips from card to laptop - laptop said mp4 format was un-readable. Did a copy/paste of files from card to desktop of lappie and it worked.
Re-did formatting of card in camera, twice. Copied files from card to laptop with no issues at all!
