I haven't received these yet they are getting delivered today will update if anything changes. From the pictures, unless the plastic is cheap and brittle, these should be fine for my purpose. I do have one complaint on the packages, I need more motion sensor holders than I do window sensors. The packages they are selling are all more of the contact sensors when I live in an apartment with 4 windows and one door. I really don't think I am going to use the contact sensor holders at all because my windows are vinyl and if I'm just going to use double-sided tape these serve no purpose to me. The motion sensors have fallen off my textures walls multiple times breaking the one sensor in the first three days of ownership, luckily Wyze is sending a replacement, I wish they had packages with just motion sensor mounts in multiples as I will probably have a total of four motion sensors and only two contact sensors as I have cameras on the front windows and door, plus a Ring Door Bell 2 mounted to a post on my porch entranceway. I also have a door lock on the door that senses if it is open or closed so no need for a contact sensor there and once again my door and frame are steel so the contact would still be held with double-sided tape if I did use one so still wouldn't need this mount. I bought Scotch mount tape to use instead of the tape included if any of the contact sensors come off but so far only the motion sensors have fallen probably because the tape works fine on flat surfaces like vinyl window frames. I will update like I said if anything changes but I think these are a pretty simple, straight forward design and should be fine.Reviewed in the United States on 31 August 2020
Update: I realized the one dimension that mattered was the same, the length between the clip pieces so I tried modifying the contact sensor holder to hold the motion sensor. I simply cut a groove where I wanted the sides to break off and then snapped them off with a pair of slip-joint pliers. It isn't as deep I don't think like the other mount but it holds. So I now have what I truly wanted which is three of the motion sensor holders, as the contact sensors were useless.
Second update and why I lowered it to one star:
It is almost impossible to remove these things easily from the holder. They have a little slit for a pin to reset the device, but unless you have a thin pin with you that is rather useless. The motion sensor when you insert it into the holder designed to hold the motion sensor it sits almost flush in the holder and there is nothing to grab to pull it out, so you have to hold the two securing clips open while prying the sensor out with a screw driver or whatever. My modification to the contact sensor so it holds the motion sensor works better than the actual motion sensor mount. I still haven't gotten the motion sensor out of the holder because it is too late for me to get the ladder out as it is mounted over a door way. When I do I am going to modify it by cutting part of each side off so I can pinch the sensor in my fingers to pull it out easier in the future. These things are just poorly designed and someone should have seen how difficult these were to remove from the word go and fixed it when the fix is something so easy as cutting to half circle cuts into the sides for access to grip it for removal. I still haven't found an actual use for the contact sensor one in a modern house with steel doors and vinyl or aluminum window frames besides making them into mounts for the motion sensor.
Update: photos of simple modification that makes these more functional. Keeping rating because I shouldn't have to modify thier designs to make it work.
