With most airlines, babies under 2 years of age don't generally get their own seat on an aeroplane. SkyBaby is a compact pillow and mattress, and is useful in helping them to be more comfortable on your knee. It is designed to work with the airline infant belt, or can be used without it. Being lightweight and compact, it fits nicely into hand luggage, or the bag provided allows SkyBaby to be clipped externally to something else, e.g. the nappy bag. SkyBaby is fully washable and passes BS EN ISO: 12952: Part 1. SkyBaby is 56cm long (the width of the average airline seat) and 29 cm wide, and can be used from birth. SkyBaby can be used for babies of differing ages, depending on the size of your child and whether they will be happy to take a nap on your knee. www.sky-baby.co.uk

Total waste of money

This is not what we expected. There is very minimal cushion for the babies. Corners are not well rounded to prevent the head of the baby against the edges and seats. There is only 2 adjustment to hold the baby would have preferred a velcro to adjust the and properly wrap baby. I would prefer to take a nicely cushioned quilt to the plane over this product.

Dont waste money on this product, better take a nice quilt.

Adds comfort to long flights

This is how it is described and adds comfort when traveling and the only other option is sleeping in your lap. Makes it easier for you to hold them too. My son was ok in it but didn’t sleep in it. The catch on it could be better as it can slip off easily. Legs hang off the end but not a problem. My son was 5 months.

Don't know how I travelled without one previously

We used this for flights between the UK and Australia with a 12 month old (who is top of the centiles for weight and length) - he was too long and heavy for the airline bassinet. We found it so useful, so much better than cradling him while he slept on those long, long flights! At 12 months his head was at the top on the pillow part and bottom at the other end, so his legs were just dangling out of it, but this wasn't a problem as we would have the legs resting on whichever of us wasn't holding him. By using some of the airline pillows to pad between the mattress and our legs/armrest, we could be completely hands free. Recommend this SO much!

Ich hatte mir tatsächlich mehr von diesem Produkt versprochen. Die Matratze ist viel zu dünn. mit dem Anschnallen ist es auch nicht ideal vor allem wenn man von der Fluggesellschaft den Adapter zum anschnallen bekommt. Im großen und ganzen schläft das Baby trotzdem auf dem Arm und es ist keine Erleichterung wenn es im SkyBaby liegt. Für mich null nutzen!
