Best Purchase ! TrueEngine SE's Sucessor

TrueEngine III SE takes everything TrueEngine SE does well and makes it better. Sound quality sounds just as good and if not even better than the TrueEngine SE, retaining that strong bass that the SE was known for. The design has been improved to be slightly thinner and sleeker-looking, so it doesn't protrude out of your ears as much as the SE did. The controls are fully touch, doing away with the old buttons that the SE had. And they are now much more responsive without having to constantly press the earphone into your ear to change tracks or play/pause. The charging case also looks sleeker in my opinion, finally utilising USB-C instead of the old micro USB. In addition, they even include a pair of COMPLY premium ear tips out of the box! Which come with memory foam and noise isolation features. If you liked the SE you will love this, it is truly an upgraded and improved version. And if you've never owned the SE series or are just looking for a solid pair of in-ear earphones from Soundpeats, look no further!

After watching extensive reviews of all budget earbuds, I eventually made my decision to get these and I can safely say I'm happy with this decision. I've tried Airpods Gen 1 and I find it amazing how similar these really are to Apple's expensive and more premium product although there are still some areas that can be improved. But let's start with the positives because there are a lot especially for the price.

Pros:
- Fast Bluetooth connection around 10 seconds the first time, and even quicker after that
- Really good bass - great for hip-hop, dance & hardstyle where the bass needs to be punchy.
- Comes with Comply memory foam tips, you don't know how good these are until you get them. Tight ear seal and makes a very noticeable difference to volume and bass.
- IPX6 Sweat-resistant and perfect for the gym or physical activity.
- Perfect amount of touch controls - play/pause, volume, skip, answer/reject calls, turn off and disconnect pair to another device.

Cons (and there's not many):
- Touch controls are abit picky, have to hit the logo area pretty accurately otherwise it doesn't always register the touch.
- Volume definitely does its job, but some people may find it could be a little bit louder, but it's probably a good thing that you can listen to them at max volume and not be deaf.
- I find the microphone a bit muffled, so I don't plan to use it for phone calls anymore.

Overall, wow for the price these actually sound and function beyond expectation.

All in all, a very hard product to beat! Almost unbeatable sound quality, comfort, build and design for such a cheap price! Definitely recommend buying this product; you won't regret it.

- 'Buldge' on your pants was minimal; very easy to carry around; small and discrete.

PAIRING/CONNECTION: 5/5
- NO latency! Great connection.
- Really fast and quick to pair; was a breeze to setup and automatic pairing every time you took them out of the case is of amazing convenience!

COMFORT/FIT (4/5)
- Very comfortable and tight fit (won't fall out) with numerous eartips to suit your ear canal.
- Unfortunately, may hurt after prolonged period of time (~3 hrs) for the first week or so but your ear gets used to it and no more uncomfort???

BATTERY LIFE: 4.5/5
- Reasonable battery life which is LONG for the average casual user and is more than enough to smash out study sessions or a workout at the gym. I doubt most people would listen to music for more than 4 hours continuously.

QUALITY/BUILD: 5/5
- Despite being made of plastic, the earphones is durable and high quality.

DESIGN: 5/5
- The black colour of the earphones is very slick and looks stunning.
- It is an attention grabber for sure and a must-buy for budget Airpod fans.

SOUND: 5/5
- The sound coming from the earphones is excellent as I get to hear the whole spectrum of the sound spectrum without any bias in a certain frequency.
- Bass is decent especially for wireless earphones of this price!
- Certainly not the best sound but is almost on (if not the same or even better) par with airpods, which cost MUCH MUCH MORE than Truecapsules! I am impressed!

Quite a fan of these true wireless earbuds. Design of earbuds itself is modern, and the case is nice and portable. Touch controls work fine, and the sound quality is good for the price. Bought these as a gift for someone who only used EarPods before and they are very happy with them, no complaints. I don't think AirPods are 5 times better than these, even though they are 5 times more expensive, and neither does my mate!

I’ve been using these for a week now on the way to work and at the gym.

Tip: Try all 3 silicone ear tips and find the right fit. Sometimes a smaller fit makes earphones stick in better and fit more comfortably.

Pros:
Absolutely great fit
Comfortable
Sound quality is absolutely fantastic and rich
Customer service is responsive and easy to work with when I had an issue.

Cons:
Case lid closes too easily and closes back on itself as you're opening
Bit excess packaging (but in line with industry norms, which needs to change)
Pause/Forward/Back controls is reversed - double-tap for pause and single for forward; expect opposite.

Overall: Excellent value and quality. I highly recommend them.
