It is always difficult wrapping up a series, especially one as long as The Kingmakers’ War. There is a very real possibility that the ending falls flat, or plot points don’t pay off, etc. but I am happy to report that A spark of Light delivers in spades.
Not going to say much about the plot, because it is something that needs to be experienced first hand, due to a few bait and switches pulled. Although, I will admit that Jehn redeems himself by the end of the novel.
It is disappointing to think I may not be able to journey through this vast and rich world that Kate Avery Ellison has crafted again. But I live in hope that she decides to venture once more into this magical land one day.
Highly recommend. Must read author.
