About the Author
If you’d told us three years ago we were going to spend our lives cooking and eating amazing plant-based food we wouldn’t have believed you. We were a couple of mates from Sheffield who ate meat every single week.
Now we’re a couple of vegans who run BOSH!, the biggest plant-based online channel in the world.. Our food creations were viewed by half a billion people in our first year and our most popular recipe videos have been viewed over 50 million times. We never expected to have that kind of success, and it was humbling.
IAN: I was the one to first cut out animal products.
HENRY: I mocked Ian when he went vegan, and asked him where he’d get his protein from. But eventually he won me over. That and the whole argument for saving the world by not eating mass-produced animal products thing.
After cutting out animal products entirely both of us felt fantastic. But we had to re-learn how to cook, and find food when out and about. We also found that the vegan food available in restaurants or in cookbooks was often, frankly, not very good.
We saw an opportunity. Since then, it’s been our life’s mission to show people how to make delicious, plant-based meals. However often they choose to do that.
And now after three years of eating plant-based food, we’ve mastered a new style of cooking, one made popular through a new breed of internet chefs, where novelty and wow-factor presentation is just as important as taste and ease.
With this new style of cooking, we’ve created all-plant versions of classic dishes that are free from meat, eggs and dairy but still totally scrumptious. You know your favourite dishes, the ones you’ve learned by heart and use again and again? Well these are your new go-to classics.
Everything we do is aimed at showing just how easy it is to eat more plants. We also want to prove just how delicious, hearty and satisfying plant-based food can be.
We cook, drink and film delicious recipes for the world, all from our home studio in East London.

Extensive range of meals which can be cooked in under 20 minutes.
Cook with ease due to detailed and clear method set out for each recipe.
Most ingrediants in the recipes used so far are common and affordable.
I bought this book because I absolutely love my other Bosh cookbook.
However to make to food 'fast' corners have been cut and alot of the ingredients are packaged, unhealthy or instant rather than fresh.
Less love goes into the cooking. And you can taste that.
Love it!
She loved it !!

The instructions are nuttier than a box of frogs, halfway through you will be questioning if it was written by different people in different time zones, by the time you finish you'll realise that if you follow it in any order other than printed it will make more sense.
Purchase this if you like blending puzzles with cooking and time travel.

As soon as I heard this book was coming out, I preordered and even made 2 of the recipes from watching the videos online the week before the book was released. I made the Sloppy Joe Dogs as written and unfortunately there was way too much marmite included. They asked for 35g and I thought that’s a bit much, surely a tsp would suffice but decided to trust the recipe and go with it but I should have trusted my gut, it was waaay too much and totally overpowered the dish rendering it unedible and I do usually like Marmite. I will definitely make this again but will just use a tsp next time.
Next up I tried the goulash with dumplings which in reality was just a vegetable stew with caraway seeds. The dumplings were awesome but the stew was bland and boring but I repurposed it as a Chilli a couple of days later.
The speedy Spag Bol had me blending sausages and veg into a grey paste in the food processor Before cooking which I found rather unappealing and also not that speedy, any recipe that has me cracking open the food processor is hardly quick in my opinion. I wasn’t convinced by the ingredients either, juice of an orange and a cinnamon stick in Bolognese? I didn’t like this at all however my daughter did and ate a big portion for her tea so perhaps it’s not bad, it’s just me.
I have several other recipes bookmarked to try so I won’t write it off just yet. There are several delicious sounding recipes and gorgeous photographs to drool over and I do appreciate a book which concentrates on dishes you can put together in a hurry.

Not really speedy if you want fresh ingredients.
