It applies like a watery lip stain. The first coat was the way stains typically look on me. A pigmented wash of color that allows a little of my own natural lip tone to peek through. I wanted a finish that was more opaque so I layered a second coat on and I achieved the desired color intensity I was looking for. TIP: Allow product to dry between layers. Drying time increases with each additional layer of color.

The lipstick does not dry immediately so if you get a lil messy at the corners or edges, you can take a cotton swab or tissue and fix it.

To be honest, since this formula feels like water going on your lips I was worried it would dry my lips out. To my surprise, I forgot I was wearing lipstick. This is weightless on the lips. It did not leave my lips feeling dry.

Now, I drank water, soda, orange juice, more water, etc.,. I ate an oily dish and even wiped my mouth with a tissue to remove food particles. I did not retouch my lips after the initial application. The end result is there was color intensity loss. It ended up looking like an old school lip stain. I find that acceptable because it still looked attractive. There was no crumbling, no dryness, just made my lips look like I was wearing a lip stain at the end of the day.

I bought this L’Oreal lip stain in ‘I Choose’ . I usually put a lip.moisturizer such as Chap Stick Total Hydration on my lips and then my foundation. This makes any lipstick stay on longer. I then use a half dried up NYC lip stain marker which I. can no longer find anywhere. I then put this L’Oreal product on top and blotted my 👄. This product stayed on the entire day and my lips were still stained the next morning.
Pros:
Lasts 24 hours even after eating and drinking throughout the day with gradual color fading to the morning even after face washing.
Cons:
I gave it 1 star for moisturizing as it does not do that at all and seems to be drying up my lips like crazy in the two days I’ve tried it.
Not thrilled with funky little applicator brush but does do the job okay.
The product I received, when applicator is dunked into it, does not cover the applicator and I must dunk several times. A sign to me that it is partly dried up.
I am suspicious of product being authentic L’Oreal product as came with no outside packaging and just a very sticky small piece of tape lengthwise to discourage opening of product. Tape had writing too tiny to read on it but no name of color. Also had number on the bottom of the tube and ‘L'Oreal’ on the tube cap.
Personally, even though it lasts a long time on your 👄, I would not buy this again nor recommend it to anyone.

I bought the I amaze color. It is like a dark terracotta or burnt orange brown. The color is so gorgeous! It is pigmented but at the same time, slightly sheer, which I love. I hate lipstick that is too opaque and weigh my lips down or too drying. This liquid lip is perfect for daily wear. However it never completely dry. It leaves stain everywhere my lip touches, cup, straw, water bottle etc. I wish they made the liquid dry down to a non transfer formula.

The color “I Rule” is actually like the color on the lip picture, not the one stroke picture. It’s a lot pinker than purple. Pretty bright for fair or medium skin tones. Also for some reason it smells like makeup mixed with a little gasoline?? I like the application and feeling enough to forget about it BUT it does say on the label that it is flammable till it dries so ._. Watch out for that

Lovely lite texture and a very easy and precise applicator. I Decide is a lot more of an orangy red than pictured but overall very flattering. Lasts long but does wear off after eating, unfortunately, does not have the staying power of long last lipsticks. My favorite thing about this lip stains is that they are not sticky/ gooey like a gloss but set in a way you won't even feel like you are wearing any make up
