Again, same problems of the first book but much more
This guy thinks everyone in Sub-sahara Africa is worse than the villians of Game Thrones as well as more generic and uniform in unrealistic inhumanity as
Most non-noble girls and boys throughout most civilizations in most of history actually married on average in their late-teens or early-twenties. But the author who didn't do any research just spews more fictional lies about history neglecting to mention that the Romans treated their slaves much better than America did and it was much, much easier for a Roman slave to earn their freedom

I know I post too many comments on bad endings, but can't help it, I don't like to read books with half a story. Isn't that what a cliffhanger is, an ending a book in the middle of the story? A breach in the writer reader contact? I paid for a story, I got half a story.
Overall, although often presented in a clumsy, stilted manner, I enjoyed the premise of the story. But, I hate it when a book ends in a cliff hanger. Move on to further adventures but don't leave us hanging waiting on, what should have been, the next chapter. It equates to nothing more than a cheap trick to force the reader to by the next book. I doubt if I will purchase anything else from this author.

Looking.at the other reviews, I noticed that some were disappointed with the ending. I actually thought that the ending came at a good spot for the story yo transition to the next installment.
Overall, I thought that it is thought provoking and will continue with the next installment.
Like book one it ends right at a good point, so only 4 stars but overall I like the book. Don't know how accurate it is but still a fun read. Think other 2 star review a little harsh. However author might do better under kindle unlimited.
