Amazing Stevie bio for kids
Reviewed in the United States on 1 April 2021
This is a pretty awesome book and addition to the Little People, Big Dreams series. Our kiddo has enjoyed multiple entries in this series so far, her favorite being Elton John (because of the song in Sing). I don't think she'll grasp on as well to Stevie's tunes out of the gate, but we'll give it a shot!
The illustrations are very well done, very unique, I love the sunglass accessory images. The book gives a great retelling of Stevie's birth and upbringing and challenges he faced and his musical talents. I wish as an adult this book went into more detail because it makes you ask questions about what else happened, but it's a pretty amazing introduction for kiddos. At the very end is a non-comic two page detail of various points, with a timeline and four real photos of Stevie over the years.
My only point of contention is the price. At a little over $13 for the hardback version, it's not very likely that I would be able to amass many books from this collection, which is disappointing if only because they are so awesome. I'm very fortunate to have been able to sample this book!

Fun Book!

This is a great book, we are so happy to add it to our home library. We have several other books from the Little People, Big Dreams series and really enjoy them and the simple, engaging way they are able to tell the stories for very influential and inspiring people and Stevie Wonder’s story is so different. It is a great way to introduce his story to our kids. They love the book, it is fun to read together. The illustrations are simple and entertaining, my kids really enjoy it. I hope this assists you with your shopping. If so feel free to let me know below and leave a comment with any questions.Cheers, Cass
