I purchased the DS22+ from Amazon and it was shipped to me in UAE from the USA, I configured the device and every thing went fine for few hours of duty, I traveled for few month and the device was shutdown, after few months I started up the device to sync my laptops and Mobile phones data but it requested to download the updates, once the device was updated it was automatically rebooted then it died. I requested Amazon for support but they informed that I have to contact the vendor for support as Amazon stopped supporting third parties products! I contacted Synology then they informed me that you have to go to Amazon for support, then after I sent to synology the evidence that Amazon does not support their product, they informed me that the warranty does not cover regions out of the USA, they directed me to their partner in the UAE (Datacare), but Datacare wanted to charge me the price of a new motherboard plus shipping and service cost which adds up to more than the price of a new device. there are so many details I don't want to mention otherwise the review will be very long. I don't recommend this device
I saw the high review and bought this product without hesitation. Install and setup was OK, but it is not so easy as dropbox to use. I add up more memory but it is still very slow. I decide to use dropbox and external hard disk drive.
