Tinawells, great seller, great quality. I realised that people (William Klein) and (becextech) are selling fake ones. Look out for them! Check if the Tinawells masks sold by Tinawells. If you can’t stay at home, Please Ware A Mask!!!
The first eight or nine of these masks that we took out of the box broke immediately when we tried to put them on. The elastic loops are useless and come straight off. These masks are a complete waste of money!
I cannot make the mask snug fit coz everytime i try to tighten the strap by making a knot for example, the elastics for the ear rips!! And even taking it from the box, you have to be really careful coz yep it rips!
As a dentist I have used many thousands of identical looking face-masks, but unfortunately this Amazon-mask is a disappointment because the elastic keep coming off. I had to hide in a supermarket aisle while trying to punch a hole in the mask-corner with a key so I could tie the suddenly flagging loose end through it. I now carry spares because this has happened several times. The elastic ear-loops are heat-welded to the mask and the "weld" fail. As I said, in my experience, this is a unique and frequent point of failure for this mask.
They'll do the trick but the first 2 we used were missing the moulding piece insert that forms it to your nose. They are individually wrapped but they weren't even in the plastic bag. The next one had the piece included but it was half sticking out of the sleeve it's meant to be in. We don't get out much so they'll serve their purpose but they are not the highest of quality.
Unfortunately, these masks are so flimsy as to be virtually no help at all in terms of avoiding infection. A waste of money for me. I can't imagine any situation where they would be helpful except for hiding one's facial features.
After reading all the positive reviews, I thought these were going to be a bit better than they were. I think I'll just need to bite the bullet and buy a proper fabric facemask. These will be good as spares only, but I wouldn't want to rely on them for day to day use.
Pros: • Plastic wrapped • Decent nose wire • Fast delivery and decent price
Cons: • Smaller fit (so I had to keep adjusting, which is bad) • Glasses fog up (probably because of the small fit) • The ear loop broke within 3 minutes of use. I was at the doctor, so this wasn't ideal • Not individually wrapped (all masks are in the same plastic pouch)
I bought these when NSW was threatened with a second wave. They did arrive a lot faster than the expected shipping. Overall though, after using several of them, they are uncomfortable and that coincides with the perceived quality of the fabric used. They left my nose a bit raw after wearing for a several hours, and the elastic to cover the ears also really hurt my ears after a similar amount of time. This is in contrast to some other, albeit more expensive, disposable masks that I have worn. For the price I paid, I do not believe this was value for money.
I’m someone who used to work in health and these masks seem much lighter (flimsy even) than those I used to use. That said, I’m hoping they will do the job. They look the goods, with 3 single piece layers...
