This was a wonderful story and I enjoyed it very much. It had a twist to keep you guessing and learning about aspects of organ donor recipients was very interesting. I have one small criticism which took away one star in the rating and that is...there we're far too many children to try & keep track of which bogged it down a little because you had to try & keep remembering who belonged to who. There were 15 kids between the characters!!! Apart from that I highly recommend it.

Josephine wrote a very compelling and heartfelt story about Gabby who received a heart transplant and formed a relationship with the donor's wife Kristen. I couldn't put down this book and it had so many interesting relationships and sub plots that all interweaved and even though there were a lot of challenges for people it showcased how strong people can be in hard times and that good things can come along- which ultimately gives us encouragement and hope for positive things to happen in our own lives. An enjoyable read that made me appreciate the things l have in my life which can be hard to acknowledge at times.

This is another beautiful read from Josephine Moon. It had me invested until the end and I didn’t pick the ending at all. Another book I flew through due to being a fast reader but a wonderful light read to enjoy curled up in an armchair with a cuppa. I really enjoyed that Josephine touched on the subject of organ donations and transplants.

Contemporary Australian women's fiction of a high calibre. It is told as two intertwining stories, of strong women with challenging lives.
Gabby and Krystal are united in a rather unique way. When Krystal's husband, Evan died in an accident, his heart was donated to Gabby.
Thanks to information in a newspaper interview for Gabby's trendy cafe and roastery, a grieving Krystal figures out that Gabby was the recipient.
After a rocky introduction, the women find the way through puzzling clues as to how and why Evan died. Gabby is plagued by nightmares and visions that suggest Evan's heart contains more than just its chambers.
