Whats the point of writing a review for a hard disk you have just purchased.... No point at all unless its DOA (and yes I have had DOA HDDs in the past. This HDD does what all HDDs should do, store data.
The real important criteria for a HDD review is longevity, and you can't do that after just purchasing it, you would have to do that in 3-5 years time. If it fails in less than 3 years, then, it's rubbish. This is why I have given it 3/5 stars. Having said that, I would like to add that I chose Toshiba, because historically I have found them to be extremely reliable, in particular the 2.5" form factor, so much so that they are my got to 2.5" HDD.
