Poor quality, doesn't work with Windows Drivers

The ethernet plug broke first use, the plastic used to hold the plug in place is so thin it just broke with the slightest pressure. The product also never worked with Windows 10 USB drivers. My USB mouse and keyboard never worked properly when plugged in to this device. I returned for a full refund and my replacement product which is a better brand works flawlessly first go. Don't waste your time with this cheap brand.

I am using this for the nintendo switch. I've been impressed with UGREEN with other products in the past and this is no exception. Product feels premium and does as is it says in the description.
One thing to note is that if the switch dock is plugged into power, the blue LED on the ethernet adapter will remain on regardless if the switch itself is on. I like to disconnect the adapter when not in use as I don't want the light on.

Much more sturdy build than the Tersley USB3.0 Hub - good quality and works well. Didn't come with a power adapater or instructions on what size to purchase other than DC5V. I've believe it's likely a 3.5mm adapater.

Happy with this purchase but ideally would have come with the power adapter. Awaiting the power adapter (ordered separately from different online supplier).

Using this device to hardwire ethernet to USB on laptop (non iOS device). Works well and connects easily. No driver installation required.

Doesn't Work on MacBook Air

I purchased this item to enable connecting ethernet to my MacBook Air and after installing the driver and reading through and following all of the steps and troubleshooting to get the hub to work - it doesn't. A complete waste of time. Meanwhile, a colleague plugged the hub into their Windows laptop and it worked without any issue. I think the Troubleshooting guide needs to either be updated or the product needs to not be advertised for MacBook Air.

Bought 2 of these UGREEN USB 3.0 hub's to attach a cheap SSD to my 2x Mi Box's as well as provide ethernet connectivity. I am yet to experience any issues and the device works as intended by connecting an SSD with a SATA to usb connecter. The Mi Box only has USB 2.0 however having the USB 3 hub might serve a different purpose once the MiBox is superseeded. All USB ports on the hub function at the same time without issue.

La compré para mejorar la velocidad de la mi box s, pero si tenéis router 5Ghz no vale la pena. Por 2,4 el wifi va "lento", con el hub mejoras mucho la velocidad pero por 5Ghz la cosa cambia. Con el adaptador me da una velocidad maxima de 120-130Mbps, por 5Ghz consigo una media de 180-190Mbps. Es decir, si lo queréis para tener ethernet en una xiaomi mi box vieja, compradlo de cabeza. Si lo queréis para la version S y no tenéis wifi 5Ghz, también pero si tenéis router 5Ghz y lo queréis para ethernet no vale la pena, solo para el hub USB, pero recordad que el puerto usb de la xiaomi mi box es 2.0 por lo que un hub más barato hará lo mismo si no necesitáis ethernet.

So, the first unit i received had an issue with the main power USB plug. When it was clicked in all the way to make sure it didn't fall out, the power stopped and the lights went out. If i left it out part way it was fine. That way it works perfectly with my Amazon Fire stick allowing Ethernet connection.
So i contacted them and after much back and forth they finally believed me when i linked them to a YouTube video of it happening.
So they sent another. This one works perfectly well when it comes to that power plug issue and the USB ports work fine (not why i bought it). However, the Ethernet port doesn't work.
Their response this time was that many thousands have been sold and they haven't had two consecutive devices being faulty and that it isn't meant to work with the Fire stick and to buy a different adaptor from them (that isn't gigabit Ethernet which i want). I confirmed that was wrong as their first adaptor works perfectly in this setup and simple can't be plugged in properly so has the risk of falling out.
I really don't know why they say one thing that they know is incorrect after I've confirmed to them it worked that way with the first one they had sent?

Excellent Switch compatibility with a caveat

Bought this to use with the Nintendo Switch on a Lightning Deal and for this purpose it works well. Make sure you put it in the USB slot at the back of the dock (as this is the only USB 3.0 slot) and the Switch will automatically recognize it and connect to the internet via wired LAN. If it does not you can easily change this in the Switch settings.

Be aware that this adapter, like many others when being used with the Switch, will cause the Switch to remain warm while in sleep mode (if the dock is powered). This may affect the battery, but your mileage may vary. This is not an issue with the adapter but supposedly an issue following a Switch software update.

Other than that small issue the adapter works well for my purposes! Highly recommended.

I've been struggling with the dreaded circle of frustration when streaming shows etc. Dedpite gave a genuine 50Mb download speed (usually delivers 35-40) .. with a Firedtick .. I was restricted to wi-fi. Not now! I'm lucky to gave an ethernet connection available so this was the perfect upgrade for me. I bought the 4k Firestick because my original FireTV was feeling a bit "sluggish" .. so all in all.. the whole experience is lightening fast. I also have a 64gb USB stick and bluetooth mini keyboard plugged in. Leaving one USB port spare.
The green unit comes very well packaged ... and clear instructions although I looked it up on YouTube first. Highly recommended but it's a no brainer if you have an ethernet connection available. Yes wi-fi can be just as fast but in my house there are too many competing devices for bandwidth that I prefer to have online. Enjoy!

Je souhaitais avoir un port Ethernet sur ma Mi Box Xiaomi qui n'en possède pas, celle-ci ne possédant qu'un port USB 2.0. Je n'étais pas sûr que cela fonctionnerait (j'avais lu des commentaires divergents à ce sujet) et au final cela fonctionne parfaitement. La box a tout de suite reconnu la liaison filaire Ethernet, je n'ai rien eu à faire si ce n'est le branchement! Mission accomplie donc! Quant à l'utilisation simultanée des ports USB je n'en ai pas encore eu l'utilité et ne peux donc pas faire de commentaire à ce sujet.
Update: Après plusieurs semaines d'utilisation, je constate des ralentissements systématiques lorsque l'on commence à regarder une vidéo (même un clip sur Youtube). Cela serait-il dû au port USB 2.0 de la mi Box, qui ne permet pas un échange de données assez performants comparé à un port 3.0? Rien de rédhibitoire si vous regardez un film, car une fois lancé c'est parti sans ralentissements (ou alors très rarement).
