I have a pair of audio technica earphones which came with a detachable cable and the cable failed after a year. I purchased initially a replacement cable (for under £2) which was bad quality and the jack wouldn't fit neatly into the MP3 player. I was quoted £20 for a replacement audio technica cable which I wasn't prepared to pay (given that the actual earphones cost £20!). I thought I'd have another go at finding a replacement and paying out a little more. I found this cable at £5.99 and it is a very good quality. The cable is heavier and thicker even than the original. The gold plated jacks fit perfectly both in the earphones and MP3 player and I have my earphones back. Can Highly recommend this product.

Bought this cable to help in my home studio, and whilst I haven't used it in that setting yet, sending audio from an iPod into a speaker worked perfectly, as did sending audio out of my interface and through headphones. Both worked smoothly.

The packaging is compact and decent quality, and whilst the wire may seem a little flimsy, perhaps able to break away at the connectors... you're not meant to be putting any audio cable through hell, especially 3.5mm ones.

If you want a proper strong solution in case you often venture out into mordor or through the temple of doom, buy a 3.5mm jack to 1/4 inch adapter (which UGREEN stock!), a 1/4 inch jack lead and a 1/4 inch jack to 3.5mm adapter... or just look after your cables properly!

Wicked product and I can't wait to see how much it helps me in the future.

This is a good functional extension cable. It plugs into place nicely in my system and receives my headset with a secure and reassuring click. I emphasise the firmness of the two connections because this suggests that neither will move or come apart during normal use. The sound remains fine and clean. If I could have hoped for anything extra in the product it would have been for an option with a right angle or L shaped plug. Irrespective of this I am happy to give a 5 star review.

It is also of a construction/material that is easy to loop when not in use and feels like it won't crimp or break easily. The sound quality when in use is no different to when using earphones directly (at least not to my ears).

The description is a little bit misleading as it says that is for iPhone, etc, but as it is not a TRRS cable the micro doesn't work. It is true that I should have realised when looking at the picture that the golden connector has 2 black lines isntead of 3 but I didn't. As I opened, now I am stuck with something that it not fit for purpose (I should have paid more attention).
