I started reading this booking hoping it was a recount or guide for how to adapt to changes in the world, particularly due to covid. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to realise it was a recount of how to revert back to pre-covid business practices such as avoiding online meetings and to travel across state borders for face to face meetings. Other outdated practices suggested are that people crave working in an office and that working from home is not a option that should be considered by businesses hoping to attract the next generation of talent.
As a millennial working in finance, this book wasn’t for me. The author comes off as arrogant, old-school and a marketing major rather than an a practical, experienced business executive.

Overall I’m giving it 5 stars. Hopefully enough people pick this up and get the same joy and insight out of reading or listening to it as I did. It’s very relatable and has some tactical things you can do in your existing or new business.
